Opinions on Thors Mighty Chariot

I got a TMC from my wife for Christmas. (amazing in and of itself since she hates HC, and in 5 years has never bought me, until now, a single HC related item. She calls them my 'little trinkets') But I really hated the lightning effects on Thors hammer. I don't like to mess around with figures, but recently decided to start some modding. (and maybe even try some sculpting :eek:) So today, I cut off the lightning bolts on his hammer, and replaced them. I also added some lightning to the spot where the wheels of the chariot, touch the clouds. I haven't glued anything in place yet, as I want some opinions on what you think. Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest, my wife has a really good digital camera, but I don't know how to use it properly, and she's at work right now :p

1) Should I keep the lightning by the wheels?

2) Does the lightning on his hammer look OK?

3) I can take the lightning from the wheels, and put it on his hammer if that would look better?

So, let me know what you think.

Oh, and I am also going to be adding reigns to his hand, but what should I use? I have a chain I've painted black that I was thinking of using, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

In case you were wondering, the lightning on his hammer is from the Ultimates Electro, and the lightning on the wheels is from AW Shaman.

The figure is so much better when you fix the lightning. I added a bit of jewelers chain like you did [mine's sort of bronze though] and put the same bit of electricity around the hammer [seems the go-to piece], although on mine it's more coming off and grounding out into the chariot itself, like a bit of ball lightning or something, so it's a bit different.

Still, the bolts shooting out of the wheels look cooler than I would have thought.
