The Steel Clix is still a black guy with a hammer from what I've seen.

It could have been weirder. We could have gotten the Steel from Kingdom Come.

It that, he drops being a Superman fan (since Superman went into self exile) and become a warrior for Batman. His armor has the pointy ears and he carries a two sided axe that's shaped like the Bat-insignia.

I read Superman vs. Darkseid. John Henry Irons is alive
with some heavy damage to his nervous system. In a world
full of magic and wild science fiction I'm sure he'll be back in action
soon enough. Also his neice created her own armor for this battle
and she may very well be used again. Perhaps a Natasha Irons
Unique is on the way.
