Impervious will only work if the figure is targeted by a successful attack. Both Close Combat Expert and Ranged Combat Expert fulfill that requirement, and so attacks using those powers will be stopped or reduced by Impervious. Poison is not an attack, and so cannot be stopped or reduced by Impervious at all.
And the answer to your Phasing flight question is yes. From the Marvel FAQ
A flier with the Phasing power can phase and carry a friendly figure at the same time.
EDIT: Additionally, to address something brought up in another thread: Soaring figures cannot affect or attack any non-Soaring figures, so they cannot attack a non-Soaring figure who is on elevated terrain.

An interesting bit of clarification from the recent FAQ update:
"The dodging part of impervious will work against attacks that don’t normally do damage, but otherwise affect the target (such as incapacitate)."
Based on that, Mind Control as well.

Shorty, while you are correct, I have learned that grammar corrections are not well-received in an environment such as this, where 95% of the posts have at least something wrong with them from a grammar/spelling perspective. The sad truth is that people do not understand fundamental rules of punctuation, grammar and spelling, and you can't do anything about it except making sure that your own spelling, grammar and punctuation are correct.
Some examples are people who don't know the difference between your and you're or they're/there/their. Some people don't know what a comma is, or how to use it, and many, many people have no idea what an apostrophe really does or how to use one. You just have to ignore it.
So yeah, I'm saying that you're right, but probably lay off the corrections and sh*t, because people don't like it. I myself have done the same in the past (correcting people) and I had to learn the hard way that the best course of action is just to ignore it. You can only engender ill will. Your corrections won't lead anyone to actually improve their grammar/spelling/punctuation, so don't bother.
My 2¢.

Sorry if I am stupid for correcting someones english.
Then forgive me. You should have said "Someone's" due to its ownership property, and said 'English' instead of english (You capitalize languages).
See, we can do this all day.

See, Magic Hater has proven my point - you only expose yourself to ridicule and scrutiny if you point out the endless mistakes made by others that can be found in a forum such as this. Better just to grit your teeth and ignore it - just focus on making sure your own postings are as error-free as possible.
