Hey all,
can close combat expert use an object for a close combat action?
So like vet Bane would hit for 7 clixs with a dumpster!!!

No. I'm assuming you're talking about people with super Strenght as well. CCE (or RCE) can't be used with any other super power. If you Perplex anything on the dial, you can't use RCE/CCE. You can't Charge and CCE, or Running Shot and RCE. And you can't Super Strength and object, then add the CCE bonus...

Remember that CCE cannot be used with any other super powers, and one of the examples listed on the PAC is that of Super Strength. They cannot be combined.

I played that WAY wrong then. My apologies go to my oppoonent the other night.
So in that case, could I choose to either CCE the target, or do i have to use the dumpster? I had been told that if you are holding an object, I have to use said object?

If you are making a close combat attack then you must use the held object, but if you are making a ranged attack you can choose whether to use it or your regular ranged attack. So in the case of CCE and Super Strength, if you are holding an object then you must use the object and therefore must turn off CCE.
