Auto-Regen

I'm trying to put together a team that does NOTHING but regenerates. I'm not sure of the point value for this team, so I'm gonna go with the standard 300pts.

I wanna use 2 "Automatic Regeneration" feats (12x2 = 24)

This leaves me with 276 points to distribute between 2 healers. I need figures that have most of their clix with regeneration on it, if they exist. I can't just have ONE or TWO clix show regen, it's too hit or miss.

Basically, what figures from the Avengers, Hammer of Thor, Arkham Asylum, or Justice Leage sets are BIG on regen?

Unfortunately, I can't get in the Units section right now, but the best (non-colossal) figure for Auto-Regen, I believe, is The General from Unleashed. He has five clicks of Regeneration and has sufficient ranged and close combat power to whoop up on your opponent. His defense is a little low for the current game, but who's from the earlier sets isn't... Off the top of my head, I think he's 176 points. This gives you 100 points to find another good Regenerator -- I think at this point level you're not going to find a figure with more than four clicks of Regen -- several Wolverines, and I think V Deadpool (maybe LE Wade Wilson) have that much Regen. If you went with V Wolverine from IC, for example, at 75 points, you could add a 25 point character to make a theme team (the reason I bring this up is that I think Deadpool has the Soldier keyword, which I think The General does as well, so you could potentially make a Soldier keyword team with, say, a Rookie Blackhawk).

Blazing Skull is a decent regen piece if I recall correctly.

I wouldn't worry too much about which figures are legal, though. If one can play Auto Regen, I'd presume the tournament to be unrestricted.

The General is a solid beast for Regen, as mentioned. Plus, people forget he has range (despite the honkin' gun of his). Vandal Savage is alright thanks to mid-dial. LE Wade Wilson just begs to be played with Auto Regen and Vampirism. :grin:

With the point value you're aiming for and the abundance of Regeneration you want, your options are pretty much limited to Immortus and Chang Tzu. They both have Mastermind before their Regeneration so you might fill the last 12 points with bystanders for Mastermind fodder.

As for this team ^^ I'd say the General or Immortus are pretty solid ideas for sure.
