What caught my eye -- other than the confirmation of Crimson Dynamo and Shadowcat -- was the open scheduling period. According to the template, the Marquee can be scheduled at any time in April.

Question is, is this a good thing or a bad thing?

I suspect it's Spring Break related - the time they would have mandated the tournament (either the 11th-13th or 18th-20th) would have come during Spring Break for a lot of people, and that would have probably seriously hurt turnout.

But there's good and bad sides to it - it will give people more oppurtunities to play, which could help friendly groups (like mine), but could hurt really cutthroat ones (where powergamers rule) and - on top of that - could lead to some abuses (there are apperently some set for noon on April 1st, a Tuesday, where - I suspect - turnout will be very limited.)

It will also give more time if the kind of prize snafus that took place in January happen again - people can reschedule if the prizes are late.
