Ok, I admit it, I'm addicted...in two weeks, I've gone from 10 figs in a DC Premier set to exactly 100 figures, including a few Marvels. The local ZB had DC starters for $8, so I bought a bunch. The end result, I have 16 duplicate figs that I'd like to get rid of, trade, sell whatever. I also have all the maps/dice/click ring/PAC/instructions, etc that came with the starters, still sealed in their little plastic bags.
Here's what I have dupes on
Rookies
40 Man-Bat
88 Dove
31 Hawkman
28 Robin x2
43 Riddler
91 Bane
25 Huntress
94 Doomsday
97 Joker
Experienced
44 Riddler
101 Plasticman
107 Batman x2
Veterans
51 T.O. Morrow x2
54 Aquaman

Selling individual figs on ebay doesn't seem worth it to the buyer, with shipping and all added, but I could make two nice 8 figure non-random starter sets with maps, etc. Thoughts?

I understand the addiction. :)

Either way would work, I think. You're more likely to get rid of all of the figures if you do 2 8-figure packages, but I think that method might be less likely to sell.

E Batman is a good figure, and I would imagine that a number of people would be willing to pay for him alone. One option would be to sell the figures individually, and remind people to check out your other auctions to combine shipping, making it more worthwhile to the buyers.

Another option would be to provide themed packages, along the lines of:

Robin
Batman
Huntress

Man-Bat
Bane
Riddler
Joker

etc.

I guess that personally, I'd just go with the 8-figure idea, as it's less hassle, but then again, I'm a big slacker.

If you decide to do it, I would be interested in one of your starter sets. Let me know.

Oops - I probably should have posted this in the trading forum. Sorry if I was wrong, and if possible, a moderator could move the thread?
