Just curious, has anything been officially said about this? For example, Clint Barton has three targets with zero range. Can he still do one damage to three targets? Thanks,

Read nothing official about this but I think because R.C. Expert represents a characters ability to damage a target harder by aiming vulnerable points like visors, gaps between armor parts and so on - a character who's basic damage is zero can just harm other characters by using this ability. R.C. Expert can of course not be used while aiming multiple targets - so a character with basic damage zero should not be able to hit multiple targets.

When attacking multiple targets, it has been officially ruled that the damage value is changed to 1 no matter what it begins as.

He can do 2 damage to a single target with RCE or may do 1 damage each to multiple targets.

I know but with multiple targets, damage is reduced to 1. So I'm wondering, would it allow for multiple attacks? Otherwise, I think giving Clint Barton 3 targets is pretty useless.

Whenever a ranged combat action is used to affect more than a single target, the damage value of the attack is reduced to 1, even if the attacker has a higher damage value or super powers that would increase the damage value.

Sorry, I just forget to add that my previous post was an excerpt of the OFFICIAL RULES.
REDUCE sounds pretty different than CHANGE to me ;)

Hence the need for an official ruling on the matter. ;)

Whether you prefer the use of algebra to reduce by a negative number or simply reading the word as "changed," Hawkeye can do damage against multiple figures.

I don't know who Clint Barton is (shame on me:D ) , and I don't know all versions of hawkeye. I do have a rookie hawkeye and thought (until this:) ) that his ability to hit multiple targets makes just makes sense when he lost R.E. Expert but has a damage value of 1 - Makes sense to me, imaging that hawkeye stays back to sniper enemies and "shoots around" to defend himself when he's damaged and surrounded.

I never played any tourney, cause in germany there aren't too many and I'm a newbie, so i don't know how this is handled in official games. But privatly i would prefer my interpretation, cause it seems just more logical to me ;)

Clint Barton is the limited edition Hawkeye. He has RCE with zero damage the first couple of clicks, then gets one damage with Running Shot.

Since it has been officially ruled upon, but it's still kind of vague from the wording maybe it should be included in the next FAQ.
