I was told there was an errata for this so I just want to read it. It states 2 characters who are both flyers cannot range each other when adjacent. Does anyone know which/where the redefined rule is in which errata?

It is not "errata" and won't show up in the Player's Guide. This rule was changed in the Fantastic Four Rulebook so that, without another effect allowing it, no character can make a ranged combat attack adjacent to an opponent.

Every character has a range value printed on its base. This is the maximum number of squares that a character’s ranged combat attack
can reach. If the range value is greater than 0 and your character is not adjacent to an opposing character, then your character can make a ranged combat attack. A character can attack in any direction, regardless of the direction it is facing.

Just putting this out there: this isn't new to the FF rules, either. If your group has been letting flying characters use ranged combat while adjacent, they've been playing incorrectly for awhile now...

Have we ever! lol. But what works for us, is also works against us, so its not too bad. We just play for fun anyway. Thanks gentlemen!

Um...LoSH, page 26:
Hovering characters can make ranged
combat attacks against adjacent
opposing characters; however, hovering
characters can’t make ranged combat
attacks against nonadjacent characters
when the hovering character is adjacent
to an opposing character, as shown in
Figure 13-A. A hovering character may be
the target of a ranged combat attack by
an adjacent nonflying character.
Just sayin' ;)

Hmm... old age must be creeping up on me. I coulda' sworn that went the way of the Dodo in LoSH.

Oh, umm, and "Darned kids! Get off of my lawn!!!"

Is that when firing out of adjacency went away for flying characters?

Harpua's got me jumpy now, but, no I am relatively certain that dissappeared in Danger Room.

Take that for what you will ;)

I actually think Icons did away with that. But I might be conflating that with the end of Enhancement+Energy Explosion.
