What kind of powers do you expect the white/rebirth Elektra to have?

I thought it might be fun to speculate on the next Elektra. Yes we need her to complete the set. I am betting that the white suit Elektra will be made, but what kind of powers do you expect her to have?

Personally I could do without another Electra. I don't know who it is at Wizkids that loves her so much, but I would like to see other characters. I say stop giving us repeats and start giving us variety.

She'll be back. Marvel has big plans for her.

I just looked over some Toy Fare stuff and the next two sets of Marvel Legends appear to have an Eleketra in them. One in the red outfit, one in the white outfit. Plus she was in a box set with Daredevil and Spider-Man.

I'm thinking maybe a Flurry, Super Senses, 2 or 3 damage, and like range 6. She'd be a good, well rounded character then.

I like the idea of her having Super Senses, it fights in with most martial arts involving chi. So doing a cheap version of her with SS might be nice...

My theory is expect to see the following four in every set in some form; Wolverine, Spidey, Hulk and Elektra. I believe WK is doing this because three of these are very big names in Marvel. The fourth is going to become far more popular due to the recent movie.

However, I think the main reason is they had to include a female with the big 3...the only other female contenders in popularity are: Jean, Storm, Invisble Woman, Rogue and maybe Psylocke/Shadowcat.

Invisible Woman, Rogue and Shadowcat do not warrant more than 1 or 2 versions. Psylocke can get away with 3 or so, but Elektra still is more popular than her and offers more variety in clix form.

Jean and Storm. Both of these ladies have had several versions that could be made...Jean, Marvel Girl (original yellow and blue or the green dress), Pheonix, Dark Pheonix. Storm has had more costumes than most and her weather powers are pretty broad and cover a wide scope. She would be easy to make multiple versions with different dials. However, Wolverine is already an X-man and he should keep the X-fans coming back for more (or so I assume is their logic). There for by using Elektra they get a female from a different corner of the Marvel Universe.

Notice that each of these 4 is from one of the Marvel Movies...I think it is smart of Wizkids (for luring in the movie plans while at the same time boosting their box office/DVD sales) but as a player I don't care for it, I only need 1 of each. Now that I think about it, Marvel may require WK to use a version of each of these in each release...specifically to help boost movie sales...

Actually it has nothing to do with Wizkids. Marvel says put Elektra, Spiderman, Wolverine and Hulk in so they have to. They are their main money makers.

She'll probably have at least one click of every power in the game, and she'll cost about 350 points to play her.......she'll be able to lay the smack down on vet Batman, vet Spiderman, and any level of Superman, all by herself!!

Can you tell that Elektra is a bit of a touchy subject for me right now??

I agree with Magneto. Take any powers not given to a previous Elektra (including Xplosion) and give them to the new one. Plasticity, Shape Change, Barrier, Support, Mind Control (oh yeah, she already has that). Oh, and stick her on a flying base. Now we can have a team of all Elektra, which is obviously what we want/need.

Just a thought.

They should make her the new marvel giant-size figure. She should have flying, phasing, and the ability to hit up to four people at a range of ten, for 4 damage PLUS RCE. Otherwise, how could she take on Galactus one-on-one like she can in the comics?

That sounds great Earnan. I think it would be fitting of the rebirth elektra. I could see her with Flurry all the way. Sadly, this theme leaves no room for my favorite spiderman team ability.

I think when CCE comes to Marvel Elektra will be one of the first to get the power. What about flury with B/C/F?

Actually in the interview just posted on this site, it seems like the designer for Heroclix said it's not Marvel telling them to put in Hulk, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Elektra it's the fans. They want new players to have easy access to these popular characters.
