1) first I do not need the actual card of a clix just need either a print out a copy of the card or a print out of the SP right.
2)The charicter on the clix can be modified as much as i want forinstence I got a black adom where he is ripped off that pole and half his foot is shaved so it looks like he is standing in the skulls.
so he is still tourny playable as long as i print out his card right.

A printout of the card, yes.

It's up to your judge. If a judge believes a modification is misleading or otherwise unacceptable, they can rule it an illegal figure.

if you were in fact going to use any info on his card then yes, for example the warbound card, you would have to show proof of his keyword, but other than that you wouldn't need the card to play him, unless they argue that you need to prove his point value cuz they think you altered something on his dial, only dicks would do this though.

You should still have a printout of the card. Without it you don't have the keywords or the list of powers the card provides (maybe not important to you, but it can be useful to your opponent).

...for instance, if your opponent plays Inside Information.

With the newest version of the Player's Guide, here is what is legal and what is not:
1) Any cardboard element that goes with a figure or special object is required to play; e.g. character cards, special object cards, feat cards, BFCs. The only exception may be Bystander Tokens to this rule, as I can't find anything to support this. However, at my venue, I require you have the card to go with the BSE. (Unless it is the IC BSE).
2) Said cardboard elements may now be a facsimile.
3) Special Object Cards may be a facsimile, but the Special Object Token cannot be a facsimile. You still need the authentic object.
4) Feats: Each character assigned a feat must have a copy of the feat card; i.e. if you want to play Protected on three figures, you must have 3 Protected cards.
3) Special Object Cards may be a facsimile, but the Special Object Token cannot be a facsimile. You still need the authentic object.
I don't see anything saying that you need the actual special object token. The only time you need the actual object is for 3D SOs.
General
Print and Play: For WizKids events, players can print any legitimate copy of a cardboard element from Heroclix. The printed version must not be different from a legal WizKids-released version of the element. This policy does not apply to 3D elements, though it does apply to the card that accompanies it.
Also, Bystanders are fine to print.

Oops, that's correct, only to 3-D objects, not cardboard objects. It appears that I combined to separate thoughts in my post.
I know Bystander Tokens are fine to print, but my question was do you need the card to go with it? Or is just the token itself fine? At my venue, I require the card as well, so it's a complete unit. But if it's just the token, I won't require the card.
With the rare exception (Amadeus Cho, Congo Bill/Congorilla) where the card is needed for trait/special power text, I would say the pog alone is fine.

Thanks a bunch.

ALSO a few characters have powers that allow them to outwit "named powers" or "standard powers" and you need the card to clarify which is which. (I.E. HoT thorbuster has pulse wave called "but i will")

I don't know of any powers that apply to standard powers that do not also apply to named powers. Please clarify.
