500 points, no more than 30 points in feats:
V Justice 94
-Thunderbolts 5
SI Namor 150
Spider-Girl 77
-Swingline 10
SI Iron Fist 70
-Lunge 5
HA Captain America 72
-Thunderbolts 5
Alfred 6 pog
Alfred 6 pog

500 Total.

Alfred gives my wildcards stealth while not breaking my theme team. Justice provides some much needed TK to Namor and Cap to get them into the fight. Swingline on Spider-Girl allows me to bypass indomitable characters to incap and push them making their protected cards useless. Lunge on Iron Fist helps him really do the damage where needed.

I know I could play Iron Man and various other figures, but thought this might be worth a try. I get +5 to map roll and 2 theme probs.

hooray for SI, best set for avengers IMO...

Seems okay except for Sersi, is Telekinesis important enough to hand your opponent a free 76 points?

I'd recommend looking at SN V Justice, more expensive but his defense isn't abysmal either, or else do without TK. I understand it's useful, but not something I consider necessary.

No you do not. Moon Knight does not have the Avengers keyword so you don't have a theme team.
...fortunately there are many other great Avengers in that point range. R Black Panther and E Mockingbird both cost 27 points as well...

West Coast Avengers is not the same keyword as Avengers.

Youlre right. illl just have to go with r black panther instead. that gives me a stealth outwit. Thanks quebbster. Sersi isn't a bad figure. I could make good use of her mind control. I actually like that figure for her points

...yeah, that is pretty much what I said.

I know, I was just being explicit for the kiddies at home who might think, "Well, WCA is the same as the Avengers"... you know, the ones who want all the iterations of the JLA to work together...

Why Alfred on an Avengers team?

Are you sure you don't mean Stunning Blow on Spider-Girl instead of Swingline?

Swingline gives +1 movement, the ability to ignore hindering terrain and the ability to ground fliers with ranged attacks. It's still useful for sure on her, the +1 to her charge and RS and ignoring hindering while using those powers helps.. but does nothing against Indomitable characters..

So Iron Fist and Spider-Girl can copy his Batman TA..

I the :d-indomitable: character is also a :m-wing: character, a ranged Incap attack (with Swingline) will give them Earthbound/Neutralize... which turns all combat symbols into the standard symbols (:m-boot:, :a-fist:, :d-normal:, and :g-starburst:). So if he uses ranged Incap/Swingline on a :m-wing:, :d-indomitable: character that already has a token, they'll take a token from the Incap AND no longer be :d-indomitable:, thus take pushing damage.

It isn't the main reason to use Swingline, but it isn't a bad little trick, either.

Well, duh.

But why ALFRED, Batman's butler, on an AVENGERS team?

Sure, it doesn't technically violate the theme team rules... but that sure ain't a real theme, either.

Huh.. it does give them Eartbound doesn't it.. goes to show, most of the figs I use Swingline on have 0 Range.. I'll have to remember that..

Lol, I know he's not theme, but he doesn't technically break the rules. i'm trying to come up with a good team for a tournament at wondercon. the winner gets a chase figure and in addition, the winner on sunday gets a cash prize. my teams a secret though, ssshhhhhh..... ;)

My favorite figure to use Swingline on is CR LE Roy Harper. People criticize me a lot for it, until they see what it can do. THEN they just hate me for it.
