Characters like Aunt May and Lois Lane are comic icons. What can a combat game like heroclix do with them? Simple. Give them one power, Support, to represent their ability to help our favorite heroes push themselves beyond their normal abilities.
I love creating teams based directly off the comic books and nothing would be cooler than if Superman or Spiderman had to keep an eye out for their favorite loved ones, and in return, they gain the power to keep up the good fight.

If you agree with me, PLEASE chime in! Maybe we can convince the powers that be that we would want these figs, and that the idea is worthwhile.

Here is a list of some candidates, taken from different books. Please pardon spelling errors, and feel free to add to it, heroes or villains, or disagree. I doubt they would want to make them all, but hopefully they could see the possibilities.

Spiderman- Aunt May, Mary Jane
Superman- Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen
Batman- Alfred
The Avengers- Jarvis, Henry Pym(WCA)
Doctor Strange- Wong
Daredevil- Foggy Nelson
Iron Man- James Rhodes
Hulk, Captain America- Rick Jones
X-Men- Moira MacTaggart
Punisher-Microchip
JLA, Batman-Oracle

Not a bad idea really.

Only one bone to pick, though....

If they made a James Rhodes figure, I'd rather it be War Machine than a support figure :)

I already know how. Aunt May for a cook/maid, and Lois to massage my feet. I am married so that is all she will be allowed to massage.

I'd been thinking about this previously ,and i really think Support is the answer - instead a "damsel in distress" ability, where these lame, lame clix are worth double their victory points at game end if still alive, treble if unharmed. This achieves the wanted effect of makiing them playable wihtout being usefull in combat, and having dastradly villains desperately trying to blow away helpless hostages while our heros throw themsleves into the line of fire.

Unfortunately .. theres a drawback. Currently any "stand back and shoot" negative approach can't win any tourney, as opponents can simply take the draw any time they want - by NOT attacking the negative unmoving position. Hostages worth extra points would make the strategy a winning one. :-(

Maybe simply giving the "damsels" (including jimmy Olsen ;-) ) an ability where when they die a related clix (team member? specefic?) goes banana for a turn - flurry/berserk?

Frankly, I'd sell my soul to Martha Stewart herself to get a U Mary Jane in the game (based off the movie, please). I'll even shut up about Firelord. Do you hear me Wizkids???? Anyway, all the ideas are great here. I don't have anything new to add to the fray just yet, just voicing my support for these kinds of clix.

I think that there are WAAAAAY too many heroes and villians left to waste set space on supporting cast. If you want support, repaint a Hydra medic, Shield medic, or Paramedic (from the pineapple), to look like Lois, Aunt May, or whoever. These sets (especially DC) don't come out enough for me to waste money buying packs with Aunt freakin' May.
