Another Thing Not To Expect To Be Made

This follows in the footsteps of my Silver Surfer thread: a major question that I asked was if we would actually see Galactus or any other large figures in the future? The response was of laughter and that Galactus would be too powerfull to make and no other large figures were popular enough to actually make. This is very sad my friends. They said that is was worth making a Sentinel because enough people knew of them and would buy more then one (no answer about Sinestro). I can only think that if enough fans wanted to see larger figures then Wizkids would make them. I know that Mageknight has some very large figures and Meckwarriors is always expanding. Marvel and DC have some of the most well known Universes in existence within pop culture. So many who don't even read comics get involved in this game just because it's fun to play. I can't imagine it not being lucritive to make larger figures and add ons (yes, theres no plan for that either much), when the game has been selling well everywhere that I can see. My only thought on making a Galactus:

We don't really care how powerfull he is (fans play any size games) just make him. If your worried about power then throw some different rules or scenario to balance it out in the long run. If you want to make money off of it then try making three versions (each with a different herald) which would ensure that I would buy at least 2 version of, if not all. This way it profits you and we get what we want (this is only a thought).

Please, let me know what all of you think, we need as many responses and opinions as possible! Thank you.

Actually, I would vote against more large figs. I don't really need to spend twenty bucks on a fig I'll never use and doesn't fit in my cases. JMHO...

They could make a Galactus figure they just dont want too , it would be a simple conversion of there Mage Knight dragon series.
THey could have special rules for him like they do the dragons. THe idea of depleteing powers is one that i think of , every round or other round Galactus loses a click or 2 to the use of his enormous powers , and when he kos a figure he could regen the number of clicks that character has . just a thought

That sounds like a good idea.

It would even keep in perspective how Galactus actually lives.

His power starts to wane and then he gets his Herald to find him a suitable planet to consume.

I think that Galactus would only work on a strictly senario based level. He could be a bust (just head and shoulders) that you set at one end of the map, no attack. You have ten or so, rounds to defeat him before the planet is devoured.

Of course we want big figures. They're cool to play, especially in scenarios, and they're fun to collect.

We've seen enough threads on this site listing figures people want to know that.

Galactus CAN be made. Make him weak from cosmic hunger. He can show up so depleted that he can be, say, 300, 400 or 500 points. And if they can work out the points, then make him 500, 600, 700. Whatever. As long as we get him and we can gang up on him with a ton of clix! :)
