Why Hullo to you all out there in clix country! i just read sundevil's vet/unique tourny( a bit late) and it got me in a great mood for clix! so my brother and i went to our figs and set up our own tourny with our collection. i enjoyed the prediction ratings in that tourny so i decided to use it (i'm a little thief!) but in this tourny, i want you all to predict it down to the final four, and then the champion ship, just predict the whole dern thing right now. then, next monday, i will post the results of the tournament with as much detail as i can(it will take about an entire page and a half for the one post) and the one who came the closest in the prediction will get a very nice prize......the feeling deep down inside that he is better than everyone else, and you will be immortalized on my wall, i will put your name up there with a little sign, and when people ask me about it, ill tell the whole story and make them sorry for asking. so predict predict predict and good luck!!
i will be using sundevil's rules, modified slightly, but the copyright is his. in case you missed his excellent thread they are as follows:
1. Figures battle 1-on-1 and start base-to-base. There is NO movement, only attack, blades, regeneration and supersenses rolls are allowed. One die is rolled for each figure to decide who goes first. Highest roll wins.
2. There is no pushing and no passing. Warriors alternate attacks until one falls. Critical hits and misses count as usual.
3. Leadership, Charge and Running Shot give +1 to that figures initiative roll (to decide who goes first). Figures can have +2 if they have two of those three abilities on their first click.
4. RCE (+2 damage) is allowed so the range experts are not steamrolled by the close combat monsters. Energy Shield Deflection gives +2 to ranged combat defense. Stealth and Barrier prevent a RCE attack. Smoke Cloud gives +1 to defense against RCE.
5. Fighters can use Enhancement and Support on themselves.
6. If one figure can no longer hurt the other (only doing 2 damage against invulnerability, for example) then I kept rolling anyway, just in case of crit hits and misses.
7. Incapacitate, Energy Explosion and Pulse Wave all worked like Psychic Blast in that they could slice through all defensive powers that reduced damage. Damage was always reduced to 1, however.
8. Combatants could be Mind-Controlled and then be made to attack themselves. They still had to make the roll.
9. If Warriors with Telekinesis or Super Strength rolled doubles on an attack roll, they received a +1 bonus to their damage to account for the occasional object. And, yes, that means crit hits added +2 to damage, one for the crit and one for the object.
10. Characters with Mastermind did 1 click of damage to their opponents when successfully attacked. They took normal damage themselves from the attack.
11. Leap/Climb, Flight, Plasticity, and Phasing gave that fighter a +1 defensive bonus to simulate their ability to easily run away and recover.
12. No team ablilities.

V Human Torch v R Sabretooth - Even the rookie is decent, Sabretooth to win
V proff X v E Human Torch - Starting in BtB will hurt the torch again, Proff to win
E Dr Strange v V Sabretooth - That damage potential is too much, Sabretooth to win
V thing v E Sabretooth - I'm begining to suspect a Sabretooth fetish, so I'll vote for the Everlovin baby blue eyed thing!
R Doc Ock v E Whirlwind - It'll depend on who gets first hit, I'll vote for the Doc cos its a little easier for him to hit
R Black Cat v V Wolfsbane - At last an opponent Wolfsbane can take
E Doc Ock v R Boomerang - Easy win for the Doc
E Mr fantastic v V Hobgoblin - They will trade incapacitates and 1 Damage until Reed get to outwit then its goodnight Hobgoblin

Round one
V Human Torch over R Sabretooth
Torch hits first and doesnt look back, Sabretooth could not get the rolls for his attacks or regeneration.
V Professor X over E Human Torch
X goes first and mind controls torch into hiting himself, while his counterpart cannot get a hit in, the Prof finally ends it with one last MC
V Sabretooth over E Doctor Strange
Sabretooth gets the first move and misses, Strange takes advantage of this and hits the kitty for 3 clix, Sabretooth needs a nine to hit the doc. he rolls a ten! both competetors watch the dice roll for blades and..5! strange lands on his Probability control click, so he's still feeling pretty lucky he rolls.. a meager 4 but he rolls again a la PC and... a Critical Hit! too bad he only gets one click past toughness. Sabretooth was awoken and enraged, he hits, and is forced to reroll his BCF roll of 4, right into a 6! match over
V Thing over E Sabretooth
i know one must think i have a thing for sabretooth, but i dont, these matches were randomly selected, and to tell you the truth, my brother picked all three. anyway, Thing goes first, hits for four, Sabretooth regenerates 2 clix, Thing, amazed by this power of regeneration, barely succeds in his next roll, he needs a three, and rolls a four.. but wait, double 2s, he must have grabbed some construction equipment and added one to his damage, putting it at 5 clix, needless to say, the kitty was sent home to his litter box
E Whirlwind over R Doc ock
Doc ock goes first, but misses, Whirlwind uses flurry and steadily chops away at the octi-limbed scientist, who only hit Whirlwind for 1 in the whole match
V Wolfsbane over R Black Cat
well, Wolfsbane goes first, and misses by one, (if only leap/climb didnt boost that stinking defense) black cat misses horribly again and again, and Wolfsbane misses by one again and again, (darn L/C) finally, Black cat hits for one, which puts wolfsbane at her prime of 10atk + BCF, lets just say the match was over soon after that
E Doc Ock over R Boomerang
Ock hits first, for 2 clix, boomerang narrowly misses ( needs 12 thanks to leap climb, but gets 11. once again, darn L/C) Ock hits him for 2 more and the match is over
V Hobgoblin over E Mr Fantastic
Fantastic goes first, misses, hobgoblin, able to ignore fantastic's toughness due to his incapacitate, hits for 2. fantastic, now with invulnerability misses again! the goblin ignores the invul with incapacitate and delivers 2 more clix. fantastic is able to outwit Hobgoblin's incapacitat, but still misses, and hobgoblin ends it
E Ultron over V Doc Ock
Doc goes first, pplxs damage, misses, ultron hits for 3, ock misses, ultron hits for 3, ock misses, ultron hits for 3.....and on and on until the doc's dial runs out

Hyde goes first, hits for one, rouge misses, so she cant steal any energy. long story short, hyde hits again and again, Rouge misses again and again

Wasp goes first, needs a ten to hurt ultron for 2 through his defenses via Inc. she doesnt get it. Ultron hits her for 3, and the match is pretty much over

Doombot goes first, misses. Wolvie hits, bcf 6, match over
E SheHulk over E Controller
Controller goes first, mincontrols She hulk into attacking herself, she rolls....2 1s! a critical miss! she hurts herself for one. she misses, he gets her to hit herself, she missis him, hits herself, and we get to a point where controller needs a critical hit due to shulkies battle fury, and she hulk needs 11 to hit controller they roll back and forth for a while, and shehulk connects first, for four clix, controller tries to regenerate, and fails, she hulk overcomes him and moves on to the next round
E IC Electra over V Pyro
Elektra 1st, misses, pyro hits for one because elektra's stealth blocks his RCE. Elektra rolls, hits and gets 5 on her bcf roll. pyro's on his last click, he is unable to do anything constructive, Elektra hits again, match over

Elektra 1st, hits for one, barrier blocks RCE Avalanche hits for 2, electra hits for one, avalanche hits for one, elektra hits for one, avalanche misses, and it was critical, not double ones, but still the cause of his downfall, elektra hits and match over

Prof 1st, misses MC, Torch hits for three, Prof misses again, Torch hits for three, and the Prof is at 0 damage without mind control so he's just SOL Torch hits again and match over
V Thing over V Sabretooth
Thing goes first, hits for 3, Sabretooth hits for one after invlul. Thing for 3, Sabretooth misses his one chance to regenerate, and thing hits for another three

IC goes first, and misses, CT hits for one(Stealth blocked RCE) IC loses BCF, she misses, CT hits for one, IC misses, Ct Crit misses! IC cant make the dice work for her though, and The Clobberin Time elektra manages to sneak past herself into the next round
Round 3
V Thing over V Human Torch
Torch goes first and hits for one, this only made his former partner, thing mad, he swings and hits Johnny for 4 clix, johnny tries to convince Thing that he was only kidding around, but on Things next attack he rolls doubles and hits for five, match over
V Wolfsbane over V Hobgoblin
Hobgoblin first, hits for 2, Wolfsbane hits for 2, hobgoblin misses, but Wolflsbane critical misses! Hobgoblin can improve his chances of winning if he can only get this one good roll....but he didnt, Wolfsbane hits, rolls 5 for bcf, and the match is won
V ultron over E ultron
the Veteran goes first, hits his former self for 1, the 2 incarnations of the mad cyborg trade hits for a while, but the veteran just outlasts the experienced
R She Hulk over E CT Elektra
Shehulk goes first, hits for three, Elektra loses RCE, the match is now hopless for her, Shulkie hits again, and the match is over
semi finals
V Thing over V Wolfsbane
Thing goes first, hits wolfsbane for 4 clix! Wolfsbane gets up, wipes the blood from her lip, and realizes shes on her last click of BCF! she has to make this next roll work for her if she is going to advance, the dice roll........ and end up showing a two and a four, wolfsbane cant believe it, she forgets that her turn is over and can not defend herself for thing's next attack, she takes four clix of damage and is retired to the storage box to watch the rest of the tournament
V Ultron over R She Hulk
She Hulk goes first, and she misses. Ultron hits, but only for one, this is Shehulk's time to try and capatalize, but all she is able to muster is a crit hit, she takes another click. Ultron hits her for 2 more, she misses again and again, and ultron just keeps coming at her for more
Finals
V Ultron over V thing
Thing goes first and misses, Ultron hits for one, Thing misses, but only by one, his luck is getting a little better, Ultron hits for another click, Thing misses entirely, his head is not in this battle. Ultron hits for yet another click, thing finally is able to hit ultron for one and show some dignaty, ultron hits for one, thing retaliates and hits for one, ultron is able to hit for 2 clix by this time, and thing realizes its over, but makes one last unsuccessful attempt, ultron seals his victory and is crowned champion of Section I!
