300 points--no flyers

Our tournament this weekend is 300 points, unrestricted but no flyers.


I was thinking of using a SHIELD team.


Dum Dum Dugan--75 pts.
Coordination--6 points
Protected--8 pts.

SHIELD Sniper x 3--66 pts.
one of these is given Spotter--5 pts.

Vet Mandroids x 2--72 pts.

SHIELD Troopers x 2--34 pts.

Vet. SHIELD Troopers (Clobberin Time)--34 pts.

That comes to exactly 300 points.

On that Shield team, you'd really be helping yourself if you toss a Nick Fury on there. He's the cog that makes Shield teams work.

You could also do the warriors three.

I love the Warriors Three, but I've used them so much recently, I figure I ought to change around.


I could trade out Dum Dum for Nick (dropping or demoting another piece as well to make the points fit), but I always kinda liked Dum Dum and want a chance to use him also.

I don't like Mandroid Armors, you'll be better served with Trick Shot on an E Sniper.

Some teams that don't have much (if any) flight that can be played at 300 points: Suicide Squad teams, Gotham City/Batman Ally teams.

Ah, I like a good SHIELD squad! That looks like it'd be fun, and you cannot go wrong with the Snipers.

I have to say - in a no fliers environment I'd probably be strategizing it up with Rogues (for Mirror Master's Transporter symbol and because I love MM so very much) or a squad with some giants to carry people.
