I recall Mr Nobody talking about the possibility of 'clix at Eyecon at Easter, but I checked the website and there was nothing on there about it.
I was also wondering what day it's likely to be, as the saturday is my wedding anniversary, and so I'll be unable to make it then.
(for some strange reason) 8)

There will infact be clix at Eyecon, the blurb is being formatted and uploaded today, should be on their website tomorrow.
game is Easter Monday, starting in the morning, format to follow the same one Zero used for Maccon.
I'll post a proper invite thread once I've settled the last niggling details.

This is awesome news, and means that I will be able to come along for it. Also means I may be able to play some other games at a convention for the first time in over 20 years.
(And geez, that was a scary number to work out)
format to follow the same one Zero used for Maccon.
I thik the match ups in the second half of the tournament should be based on the results of the first half, otherwise you can have situations where the stronger players get an easy lead into the second half, for example if they end up playing Declan.
(I struggled to think of who would be an easy victory in our group of players, as even Captain Dave came close to winning overall last week with some nice play. Actually, with the right team Declan can be a bit of a terror. Ok, let's say I meant someone who was off their game that day)
I did like the split format, and thought the day itself was awesome, but I just think that since the overall record of w-l counts for the winner on the day, it should follow the normal pairing rules all day as well.
But, this is just my thoughts on the matter, and if you refuse to vindicate them by changing the rules then I'll just sit at home and have a sook instead 8)

Any idea on an update for the website? I was trying to register myself and Sgt Grimes tonight, and the 'clix still aren't listed.
Oh, and if anyone else is interested, Sgt Grimes and myself are doing the 'Defenders of the Innocent' hero game in the 1pm session on the friday.

And, as a follow up, two weeks later and still no signs on 'clix on the website, even though they have updated other information.

9 am - 4 pm - last 2 sessions of Eyecon. Right?
Still may be able to make it, just have to cover the shorter of the two girls.

That was a cool way to spend a monday public holiday morning with Mina. She is determined to play the whole day next year. The 'DOCs were inspirational for her and if she got to play either one she would probably take it all a lot more seriously. Mina enjoyed playing Thanoseid (who was neither Thannossy nor Darkseidish) and, of course, winning against me which only just got her warmed up.
Thanks all!

Ahhh, but I did get Desaad to write graffiti about you in the girl's toilets, so I wasn't completely innocent. 8)

Mr Nobody managed to buy the most cursed dice ever created. My set ended up in the bin at the end of the day (shudder)
I also think that 5+ hours of clix in one day is overkill for me. I think I'll only do single sessions of clix at future tournaments / conventions, and looks for something else to do in the second session.
Cpt Dave won overall with the Warriors Three in constructed, and did a convincing job of it. He steamrollered myself, Sgt Grimes and Modoc on the way to victory.

What do you expect with a draw like that?
