3 events 1 day good team suggestions?

In two weeks I'm going to an all day event in St. John NB.
3 matches with the following rules.

#1 300 pts unrestricted regular with 30 pts feats and 4 bfc's

#2 400pts unrestricted random TA given to your whole team, 40 pts feats 4 bfc's

#3 500pts unrestricted Bizerro(figs start on last click and take damage/heal backwards) 50 pts feats 4 bfc's

I'd like themed teams for it and have a few Ideas but I would like some suggestions. Thx

My suggestions:

300 Avengers themed team:
111 Spider-Man
84 FF Hawkeye vet
34 Mockingbird
49 Quicksilver
20 Thunderbolts
Total: 298
BFC Deep Shadows (copy batman TA) Bright Lights (incase you fight stealth and dont want to take Ultimates) Power Dampening, and whatever 4th one you want.

400 X-Men TA
Danger Room
Cyclops
Colossus
Angel
Storm
Beast
Jean Grey
and MuMon Bishop 100
total: 400 exactly
BFC (same as above)

500 Defenders:
Sentinel of the Skyways 120
V Valkyrie 71
E Hulk 117
V Hellcat 38
SI DR. Strange 149
Lunge 5
Total: 500 exact. Hulk is the only one to really benefit from the event, and Sentinel of the Skyways has an 18 def on his last click, allowing your whole team to have 18 Def while your opponent has low AV.
BFC: im not sure. i have yet to play this team, so im not sure what they would benefit from

For the #2 game, the random TA, is that in addition to any TAs the characters have? Or are their normal TAs replaced with the random one?

You lose any normal TA's and gain a random one.

Previous tournys like this one had a list of 12 and you rolled 2d6 to see which u got. Of corse the best ones like Power cosmic ect were placed in the hardest # slots like 12 or 2.

From memory the list included:
Power cosmic
Mystics
Ultimates
Anti Supes
CSA
Defenders
FF
Skrull
Bats
X-Men
Ultimate X-Men
Bat Enemies

Though any could be on the list except Wildcards I guess.

In that case, I'd avoid using characters that have a TA; if it is a really nice expensive one (like MoE or Outsiders), you are basically paying points for a TA you most likely won't get to use. Even if it is a cheap-ish TA, it'll be hard to predict/design a strategy around the unknown. So go with no TAs and anything you do get is just gravy on top of your normal team build.

Perhaps something like:

HA033 Sif 93
HA012 Valkyrie 38
HA012 Valkyrie 38
---> 395 (5 points for your favorite feat)


And if that team manages to roll Defenders, Sinister Syndicate, Ultimates, or even Skrull, it will be very sick. And Power Cosmic? Forget about it...
