Defend and Stealth Combined??

My 8 year old came up with this one. Invisible girl (yellow) is using stealth in hindering terrain. Two friendly figures are standing b2b with her. He says they share her stealth.

I read the PAC and defend says you may "use this character's defense value." Her current value is 18/stealthed. Nowhere does it say use her current unaltered defense rating.

Buhler? Anybody?

The key is "defense value".

18 is a value. "Stealthed" is not a value. Nor is Stealth a Defense power in any case.

In a nutshell -- your kid gave it a good try, but no.

Yup, only the unaltered number is shared.

I've seen people ask if Experienced Dr. Strange can use Defender ability in conjunction with Energy Shield Deflection. - And the answer is no. You will not get Dr. Stranges 16+2 (ESD).

However, if you put the Supreme Scientist(AIM Medic) LE with ESD is next to R Invisible Girl, then the Supreme Scientist's defense is 20. 21 if the Supreme Scientist is in hindering.
