forgive me if this has been brought up before, but i'm sorta confused and people i play with just aren't sure either so we play the way we think. ok, let's say i'm using prof x (doesn't matter). i mind control bullseye. now the attack was successful using one attack move already, now as i understand it, bullseye is just a member of my team and i can either move him, or attack someone using bullseye. however if i choose to attack someone else, it's ANOTHER move action correct?. the way a friend thought it was previously, is that ok he mind controlled one of my players with an action and attacked with that target against another one of my characters and automatically hit my guy. i found this to be stupid and in the rules it nowhere says it's an automatic hit. i just seems unfair to mind controll a cheap player of mine and say "ok i'm attacking your superman now, and he gets hit automatically". how stupid is that, and unfair. so i'm just assuming it takes one move action to mind control, AND THEN, if you wanna attack you have to use another move action and be successful, is this all correct???? thank you for viewing, hopefully i'll get some answers. sorry it was long

The mind controlled character does not cost one of your actions for your turn. If Prof. X MC's Bullseye and Bullseye attacks someone, that only counts as one action. There are no automatic hits with MC = the only power I can think of that automatically hits is Force Blast.

ok, but bullseye would have to roll a successful attact right? cause let's say bullseye was to attack invisible woman, well in a bush, she can be a 20 defense, it's unfair to say ok bullseye is assumed that he rolled a 9.

In your example:

You spend an action for Prof X to MC Bullseye
If it fails you go on to your next action if you have one.

If it succeeds you can now give Bullseye an action. It doesn't cost one of your actions but it acts like any other action. In otherwords if you give bullseye a move action you move him, if he gets an attack action he can then attack like normal(he has to roll and all normal modifiers/rules apply). At the end of Bullseye's action he gets a token, and if this token causes him to push, he takes push damage.

So at the end of Prof X's successful MC action, prof X gets a token, Bullseye gets a token, and you have spent one of your actions.

Yeah, even though Bullseye has been MCed.... he still has to roll to see if his attack is successful.
