As something to do for the whole family! Well, my kids get annoyed with the last man standing game as I'm able to defeat the plans of a ten year old girld and seven year old boy! So I came up with something else....
I took some cardboard, cut it into a series of inch and half squares and wrote on them. Most of the squares say "decoy"
some will say "move again at half speed" or "slide back three
squares" and one will say "Eye of Horus" or "Reall Cool Device"
or whatever. Once you have the Eye of Horus, you have to get it off the map while everyone else comes after you. Sort of the heroclix version of "smear the guy with the ball."
There's no more than 9 to 12 squares on the map, and as mentioned most of them are decoys. Movement stops when you land on cardboard sqaure and if there's any special instructions on them, carry them out at once. The kids like it because they don't feel like I'm gunning for them. Of course, I gun for them anyway and we have fought like cats and dogs for the right to turn over a decoy card.
