Howdy,

This week at my venue we're playing a weird version of In Contact with Oracle, as explained here (http://hcrealms.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4578022&postcount=516)

I've decided to run the Warriors Three, because I haven't yet had a chance too, but the problem I'm having is which character to have them in contact with. I'm tossing up between the two following:

un016 R Hawkgirl
Team: No Affiliation
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 27
Keywords: Justice Society, Warrior

or

un049 R Batgirl
Team: No Affiliation
Range: 4 :bolt:
Points: 25
Keywords: Martial Artist

Hawgirl gives Charge + Willpower to the figure that I make an agent, as well as making my team thematic for map choice and reroll purposes, but Batgirl's ability to allow my Volstagg to Leap/Climb in with Perplex and Combat Reflexes just makes me giggle.

Which of these two would you use as 'Oracle' or can you make a better argument for someone else?

Cheers,

Rookie Skrull Infiltrator would be mean. the second click features Stealth, BCF, Combat Reflexes, and Shape Change.

E Mockingbird is also a sweet choice, with L/C, Combat Reflexes, and Close Combat Expert.

I'm not telling you which one to pick but I will make your decision harder.

R Hellcat
R Spymaster
R Shade
Mercury
Gotham City Detective

all give you a nice selection of powers.

One would almost want to run the Vampire Lackey to gain use of it's Regen...that would be brutal to help your team along with the BCF & Battle Fury in case you're facing a MC team.

lol it made me giggle too, before i even read that it made you giggle! I like this idea and i Think I'm totally going to steal it for my group :)

too many choices listed so far to decide, but i think the batgirl is probably the way to go of the 2 you've listed

Of your 2, Batgirl would be a great choice. Some of the others named are also great (Skrull Infiltrator is really pretty nice). Also, any plasticity piece would make Volstagg be the ultimate tie-up when stacked with his SP. Unless you've got L/C, phasing, plasticity, or HSS, you CAN'T break away from him

You could also go with some other options like R IC Quicksilver (or Whirlwind) for Flurry/ESD, a Destiny for SS/PC, or Rookie Rag-man for L/C, Steal Energy, and WP all in one. Heck, even Chesire could give you a Stealth/CR/Poison triple threat.

This is a scenario I'd love to bring to my venue - I've been considering it for some time, since there are SO many fun choices.

Yea, after writing my original message I continued to look and noticed Rookie Ragman, who is also a very interesting choice.

And continues to make my life more difficult 8)

Yea, I thought it was great when I was told about it. The format was thought of by Zero Cochrane, who deserves major kudos for coming up with it.

Oh, and thanks to everyone in this thread who made a relatively simple binary choice into a long and complicated one. I hate you all :p

E Mockingbird gives Flurry and Combat Reflexes, which works great with Warriors who have 0 range anyway, like the Warriors Three.

R Hellcat would give leap/climb, blades, and super senses, making Volstagg insanely hard to hurt, and he's tough to break away from as it is.

R Skrull Infiltrator, as mentioned, could make anyone a beast. Stealth Flurry, Combat Reflexes and Shape Change? Yes Please.

Destiny (R or E) for Super Senses and Prob Control. Who doesn't love Prob Control?

Talia for always Flurry/Blades. Excellent!

Mercury for Flurry/Shape Change

I'd use either Rookie or Experienced Desinty. Additional Super Senses and Prob Control all the way down, can't hardly beat that.

For some reason, I can't stop thinking about CM Electra with Stealth, Flurry, and Willpower. You could give two of the W3 Stealth and the 3rd Flurry so he can hide behind his partners as they all move up.

I was looking at her as well, but your suggestions wouldn't work.

This event is working like the ICWO card, meaning only one agent can use the powers at a time, meaning that I can't have a wall of stealthy 3 Warriors moving up with a flurrying 3 warrior behind.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards Batgirl, just for the 20 def in close.
