Venue is running 600 point bring out your cheese. I'm not running LAMP but may see it. I just hate lamp.

I have 2 ideas, both mystical keyword

Team 1

Dr. Strange
+ BT
Nico Minoru
Klarion
Scarlet Witch (Avengers SR)
R Shazam!
R Magdelena (I needed a 30 point Mystical person)
Lian Harper

500 On the nose

Team 2

105 Shazam!
84 Nico Minoru + Alias
149 Dr. Strange + BT 20
64 Karnilla
76 Klarion
Lian Harper

500 Mystical Keyword

Basic Strategy for both teams. Nico Tk's shazam onto a phonebooth where he activates
and grabs a meteor or tombstone or maybe goes for the hammer or maybe
not. Dr Strange hides behind stealth shields and keeps defenses high.
Eventually Shazam would be smacking people around, strange will snipe
any batmen. Nico will provide so many powers. Perplex one turn, outwit
another, maybe enhancement another. Support if Shazam takes a beating.
Regen if she does. I have so much perplex that even Klarion is
swinging for 5 if I so choose.

Team 1 gives strange an extra stealth shield to hide behind (Magdelena) and an extra free move TA (top cow) if I toss alpha flight on the witch.

Team 2 Adds a bit more ranged power with Karnilla but sacrifices upfront prob from the witch and strange's second stealth shield

BFC's would be Cosmic Radiation Interference (Stop SIF)/Poor Teamwork(To stop LAMP I'm willing to take a hit to stop lockjaw)/Something I haven't decided yet (Advice welcome)

Any advice? Tweaks? I built each team around the premise of I want to use Nico and I think both are fairly solid. I personally am leaning more towards team 1, but if I can't get a magdelena by saturday I'll have to do team 2.

No opinions at all?

Um...cheese is bad?

EDit - Sorry, I don't have much more than that. It looks solid, and you've accounted for both SIF and LAMP. I'm not used to cheese tournaments, so I don't have much experience fighting the teams you'll probably be fighting. I just thought someone should respond with something. I'd rather use team one, because I tend to roll badly, so I like having PC from jump. I might also choose Moon Knight (CM) instead of Magdalena...better movement, better starting AV...you lose BCF but gain SS, and he also starts with Stealth...then you could take Inside Info or some other small feat in place of Lian.

From my Blog:

600 Points of Nova Death:

V Emerald Empress x3 + Nova Blast x3
r Con Artist x3
r Mandroid Armor x2
Lyssa Drak x2 + Pounce x2

Turn 1: TK out 1 Mandroid with a Lyssa, move the other Mandroid into position, and move the Con Artists 0.

Turn 2: Push the Connies, TK with the rested Lyssa, TK again with the rested Mandroid and splode the baddies, not forgetting to Perplex up range x1, speed x1 and attack x3.

Turn 3: For this turn, I can actually TK out the second EE fully or partially perplexed and then immediately TK out the third just to devastate the opponent completely, or I can send out the Empresses 1 at a time just to give my opponent hope, whatever.

Turn 4+: Push the Lyssas and start Pouncing. Steal Energy counters the Pounce feedback, so it should be a fun little endeavor.

600 Point Trigon and his minions too lazy to roll the dice:

Trigon
Nightshade + Double-Time + Flashbang + Armor Piercing
Plasmus + Armor Piercing + Damage Shield + Takedown
Icicle + Construct + The Society
Lyssa Drak

This team is pretty simple and can be built down to 400 or even 500 points as well. The idea is to first send out Nightshade and Plasmus to tie up people and start dealing damage out quickly. While they are tying people up, Icicle and Despero get into the action of forcing people where I want them, Incapping them, all the while Nightshade and Plasmus do their thing. With everyone tied up, Trigon comes in for the kills, or to Doppelganger things up with even more no-dice-rolling awesomeness.

600 Point Roy Gets to Have ALL the Fun Team:

Red Arrow + Nanobots
V Karma x3 + Compel x3
Lyssa Drak x2
R aw Psylock x2
R Mandroid Armor x2

Place all of my objects 2 squares out of the starting zone, so that no one in the starting zone is adjacent to them.

Action 1: (after immunity) TK Red Arrow into position, perplex his range/damage/attack as you see fit.

Action 2: Attack using RCE up to 13 squares away with up to 5 damage.

Action 3: Compel Red Arrow to attack using RCE up to 13 squares away with up to 5 damage.

Action 4: Compel Red Arrow to attack using RCE up to 13 squares away with up to 5 damage.

Action 5: Compel Red Arrow to attack using RCE or Fusillade up to 13 squares away with up to 3 or 5 damage.

Action 6: TK Red Arrow back to just outside the starting zone and use nanobots on one of the objects.

If things begin to worsen, All the Shield TA's will come in handy bumping up the Karma's and Lyssa's Damage and Range.

600 Point BOMPOMPOMPOMPOMPOMPT (puts LAMP to shame):

E ff Black Knight + Thunderbolts (GLC) + Double-Time + Nanobots
V io Joker + Thwart
R io Joker x5
Franklin Richards x2

Black Knight/Outwit/Mastermind/Poison.../Thwart works like this:

Using Black Knight's speed (10) you can go 18 squares with Double-Time (10x2=20-2=18). Place the Jokers down so that 4 of them surround the opponent. Keep the vet safe unless thwart is needed, and make sure all the Jokers are adjacent to at least 1 other The Joker to make best use of Mastermind and Bats Enemy.

Outwit whatever you need to, especially movement/flight/defense to make sure the opponent is stuck. After they take 4 damage, mop up with all the 10 attack 3 damage, making sure to outwit defensive abilities. Once 1 opponent is KO'ed, pick another and keep it up.

600 Point GL Tank:

un Hal Jordan + Trick Shot + ICwO + Warbound
E lg Batman + ICwO + Warbound
lg Oracle (on card)
Gotham City Detective x3
R ct Invisible Girl x2
R aw Psylocke x2

Similar to the 400 point version, but this one has even more going for it. I can essentially have a 15 speed r/s, 13 range, 18 defense (whole turtle), 6 damage, 13 range, plus I can act every turn and get 2 chances to hit evry attack.

Don't a have an older Moon Knight sadly or I would toss him on. I like magdelena because strange can handle her AV, and the blades will make the damage work
