I was goofing off w/ a Sentinel vs. a friend's team of the Avengers. He got pissed off about his own characters blocking his line of fire that he actually killed some of them off. The funniest thing was that he crited on one of them. Has anyone else done this?
Well, of course, you cannot legally target your own figures.....
But I did turn off any defensive powers I had and targetted an adjacent opposing Logan with Energy Explosion so I could damage my own figures.
I thought the standard line of fire rules did not apply with a Sentinel because of its height? ie, Can't you fire over the heads of your own team mates because the Sentinel is so tall?

Tsannik: are you saying if you target an enemy fig with Energy Explosion, adjacent FRIENDLY figs are susceptible to the one click? I thought Pulse Wave was the only way to damage friendly figs short of rolling snake eyes, pushing, or using Titans/X-Men team ability.
I mentioned this on another thread earlier today.
My joker once shot his own lackey because the game wasn't going well and he needed to take it out on somebody.
Although it wasn't technically legal, it was allowed because it was funny.
The adjacent figures are not targeted by EE, so they will be affected by the attack.
That said, in a Challenge of the Champions tournament, on the 5th turn of a 5 turn cycle, I used my Firelord (I've repented :) ) to PW a huge group of figures, taking out my own Vulture to put my opponent ahead on victory points. This gave me the d6 clicks of healing for my characters, and I then wiped him off the map. :)

hey I PERSONALLY am all for allowing something if it is funny and everyone there agrees to it. The game IS supposed to be fun after all. Especially if it was in character for the fig, I'd do it/ allow it.
