As a continuation of the "how many uniques" thread, I wanted to start a thread for those collector's who think they have bragging rights when it comes to HeroClix. If you're rather proud of your HeroClix collection, here's your chance to boast about it! Do you have the uber-rare Wolverine in all black from the licensing show? Do you have doubles of each unique? Do you have all of the le's? Now's your chance to be the envy of the boards...

I'll get the ball rolling...

Complete sets of IC and HT.

37 different le's.

Most money spent on a single fig: approximately $100 on le Victor Creed.

Most money spent in one day on HC prodcuts: over $200 on Thursday of Origins 2002

Crowning jewels of my collection: Bruce Banner and Victor Creed

Complete set of IC with all 23 LEs and 2 Sentinels and Spidey Promo
Complete set of HT with all 11 LEs and 1 Sinestro and Batman Promo
Complete set of CT still trying to finish the LEs (only have 9 of the 20)

43 different LEs

Most money? $65 on Bruce Banner

Crowning jewels 'My set is cooler than webhead's set'

I've also got Jordon, Donnie, Jon, Joe, Danny....
Their stage set, and the collectable wardrobe.

I've nearly caught all the Pokemon.

And a Partridge in a Pear tree.

Complete sets of every character who have been in the X-men or brotherhood (e.g. R/E/V of quicksilver, even though his only brotherhood figure is the rookie) - including LEs.

Most money spent on a single fig: approximately $70 on LE Victor Creed.

Most money spent in one day on HC prodcuts: $200 on 2 Victor Creeds and some other uniques (i forget which).

Crowning jewels of my collection: the Wolverine Promo (all-black costume) given out to only retailers in May 2002 (date?). Still have not opened it. i'll take everybody's word on it that it's got the veteran's stats.

Heh, you know, when I first saw this post, I was about to start listing it all out, because I do have a decent amount. Till it came across me that.. is this really something you 'brag' about? Heh.. so in the end, decided to keep the hole in my pocket, and fandom, to myself.. =p

Happy collecting though!

Is this a thread for bragging rights or a confessional? I'd just like to say that I have some hero figure clix that I use to play the clix hero game with. I do not have Victor Creed or Bruce Bannor. Oh... The crown jewel of my collection is an experienced CT Elektra with a bent spear.

I think it started out as a bragging, but is more viewed as a HCA meeting....

Hello, my name is Tsannik.

(Everyone): Hello, Tsannik.

And I'm a HeroClix Addict.... It started out with one or two wolvies... now I've got the whole set ::sobs::

It's a bragging post, and a support group, all in one. Like, I feel OK for spending $100 on a single fig if I'm not alone in doing so.

CaptainCarl, the all black Wolverine we're talking about is a version of the Vet that was painted all black, and given away at a licensing show. As far as anyone knows, it's play-legal. It was individually packaged, much like the Spider-Man and Batman promos. There were also a Hulk and Daredevil produced in this way, but as they look identical, they aren't much in demand unless they are in their original packaging.

Oh, this is definitely a confessional. Grown men/women, paying hundreds of figures for toys.

It's a promo, not the LE. if you want to use him you can use the veteran wolverine, because i think he has the exact same stats.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I lied a bit. I don't have every version of the mutants. I'm still looking for those elusive Pyro misprints (experienced and veterans with the Masters of Evil team instead of Brotherhood).

Well, I guess I'm just not as hardcore as many here.
This is my story...

Complete sets of IC (except Rookie Rogue!)
Just finished my set of HT with a trade for U supes and (shudder) exp Mad hatter. Hey, I just couldn't pull one.

I now have a complete set of CT thanks to singles I pulled out of bowl at the Toy Biz office at the International Toy fare this weekend after they declined to give us a tour of the office (by appointment only).

Just counted (for vanities sake), 33 different le's. Down several because I traded a heap of them for nearly $200 worth of Mech Warrior that I gave to my brother (who is unemployed.)

Most money spent on a single fig: Well, I spent $50 at Wizard World East last year to get an LE Blade (by buying $50 worth of boosters that I played in Sealed booster tournies all weekend and didn't win squat.)

I probably spent $200 over the course of the weekend.

Crowning jewels of my collection: LE 5's from HT and CT.

That, and that I've seen the entire set of Xplosion this weekend at WK office at the toy show, and met the WK Prez who was a really nice guy and who took the time to come over and talk to me. And everyone I met there was super friendly even if one girl called me 'a fanboy.' :D

I put a red-dot sticker over it and drew the Brotherhood icon so it looked better. But I never got a properly printed Pyro (say that 3 times fast) so that's still in my regular arsenal.

Brags:

I almost never play the same figures in two consecutive games, and seldom field identical teams.

I never use named dupes despite lack of restrictions in tournaments

I play for fun, but I'm darned tough to beat

my name is the itsy bit.

I don't have all the figs from all the sets and don't want all the figs because I'm a player.
I can stop any time I want too.

Croud: denial is the first step !

No really All I want for uniques is 1 frickking Nightcrawler !!
but nobody wants to trade him !!
Even if they have double Nightcrawlers they keep him for trading for uniques in Xplosion.

Hmm well since it would be pointless to try n brag about me clix collection when I'm already beat out on that by other peoples', I shall brag about something else! I've got a top loading NES still with original box, 2 dogbone controllers, an about 150 or so varied games, quite a few rare ones. The Nintendo alone is my Bruce Banner in value there. Only paid about 7 bucks for it too ;) Also have the SNES 2 and Genesis 3 systems, with some good rare games for those as well. On the cd based front of my game collection, I have Suikodens 1-3, which is prolly another Bruce Banner and a Victor Creed right there, both Bust a Grooves (we'll call them dr. doom and a laura brown), an castlevania SOTN, as major games of note for the PSX. Dreamcast I have Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Powerstone 2, Record of Lodoss Wars, both import DDR's....an also got some goodies for PS2. So there's my braggin.

I have full sets of CT and HT. I'm three Uniques short of an IC set. I just bought one of them on EBay and I've been waiting for six weeks for the other two to come in a trade.

I have had eight LEs, including Arthur Curry, Doctor Doom and Johnny Storm. I won them all in tourneys and have sold them all. I don't collect LEs. What I've made from selling those eight LEs will pay for most of a set of Xplosion.

I have never spent more than $19.95 US on a single figure.

Well I drive a Ferrari 550 Maranello and still have about $90k a year in expendible income to spend on toys.

Well, not really, but the web makes it easy to claim I have anything I want! At least spending on toys makes me feel young and beats flushing away everything extra I have on the 401Kaput.

I guess the only bragging right i have is that I have never lost a tourney yet im something like 7 and 0 this has gotten me among others LE Bruce Banner, LE Victor Creed, LE Ted Kord , LE Annilihus, Promo Batman a LE Jean Grey and a couple of Knuckles
and Guess what that makes them all FREE, FREE i tell ya, (and yes i havent been playing chumps) unfortunatly ive had to buy almost all my uniques and still need Nightcrawler. Oh yea one last thing Ive won all my tourneys without, i repeat WITHOUT using Firelord or Bullseye

I don't have any sets completed.
I don't have any LE's. although I would like an Antman only so I could say I have all the Avengers
I have 1 sentinal that I have never played with.

But my crowning jewel is that I have the 3 Firelords and they are all still sealed in there little plastic bags.
