Can you use lunge and CCE on the same turn.

So could you move 2 and then use CCE?

Thanks,

Anything, again ANYTHING, that results in a close combat attack can be combo'd with Lunge.

Does using CCE result in a close combat attack? Yup.

Sorry if this comes across as a little abrupt, but it seems a like this question (or one very similar) has been asked at least once ever other day for awhile now...

Yes. CCE is a power ACTION which lets you make a close combat ATTACK.

Lunge requires that you give an action which lets you make a cose combat attack.

If Krakoa is ever made into a character and meets the prereqs, sure ;)

Actually, a Karkoa colossal would be pretty sweet...

I could see him with special rules like the ones I'd like to see for a SHIELD helicarrier. Basically a 3x6 dial which is a playable character, but with special rules allowing you to occupy squares on it. Treat it like elevated terrain...and then we could get elevated elevated terrain. AWESOME!

Lunge is pretty popular maybe a sticky would help.

Norm did a pretty good article (well several actually) on the WK site.
Sadly it will probably sink to the bottom of the WK site archives before long....

Also I seem to recall a pretty good thread Normalview did recently as well.

Sorry, I thought so, but I wanted the guy I'm playing to be able to hear it to.

I searched the other links, but didn't see anything on Lunge and CCE in them.

I have attempted to use this on several occassions and always get an argument, that you can't use CCE with it.

Thanks, for posting it so nicely and easy to understand.

Oh, and to avoid any confusion, the Orange only appears in this rules forum. Anywhere else, we're average Joe 'realmsers. Well, except Quebbster... he's still a moderator ;)

If we tell you to do something, you do it immediately and without question.

Now drop and give me 20.

Okay, if a character is in hindering and they Lunge, is it halved to 1?

Your speed value (on the base) is halved.

If your speed value after being halved is less than 2, that is all you can move.

Okay, if a character is in hindering and they Lunge, is it halved to 1?

The 2 movement from Lunge is a limitation on the character's total movement, not a hard speed value of its own.

In other words, if the character would only normally be able to move 1 square coming out of that hindering terrain, then yes, it would be limited to only 1 square. If it normally could move more, let's say an 8 speed value halved to 4, then it could move 2 squares since 4 > 2.

I thought that might be the case, but I figured it's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks guys!

Is that what that means? I just assumed you guys were very greedy. I was impressed you could share the color.

You can ALWAYS lunge. You can lunge with a fox, lunge on a box. You can lunge with a mouse, you can lunge on a house. You can lunge here and there, you can lunge anywhere. You can lunge Sam-I-Am, you can even lunge while eating green eggs and ham.
