So.. all the talk about Shellhead not working with indomitable because it's :d-indomitable: not :d-normal: got me thinking about haymaker

This is the text from haymaker..

Choose a character.

Give this character a close combat action targeting a single opposing character. After resolving this action, this character takes 1 pushing damage that ignores Willpower and team abilities.

No where in the text does it mention modifying your attack or damage.. now the icons in the corner of the card are this..

:a-fist:-1 :g-starburst:/:g-giant:+2

Now.. applying the same logic as Shell Head.. Duo's and Sharpshooters would get +2 to their damage.. without taking the -1 to their attack.. since they do not posses the :a-fist: symbol..

Correct.
Add :d-indomitable: and they don't take the pushing damage either.

That is correct. Duo/sharpshooters take no attack penalty for using this feat. Also indomitable guys take no damage. Power Man and Iron Fist anyone? (or World's Finest /Thor Chariot/ Thor& Loki)

*shudder* That's just wrong on so many levels..

I just realise that with this card Thor/Loki are even more powerful. They will get a +2 damage without -1 on attack and without taking 1 point of damage as they have indomitable. This could also be place on Thor's Chariot with the same effect.

Power Man and Iron Fist called to ask you to stop stealing their thunder...

Thor and Loki really have little to no practical use of Haymaker unless you want it purely as back-up for when their Duo ability is outwitted. Unlike Power Man and Iron Fist they don't have Charge, and their damage and attack values are so high that sacrificing a second attack for +2 damage is utterly pointless 9 times out of ten :)
