Which is a victory in and of itself.
Two things:
1. The roman numeral for "4" is "IV" not "IIII"
2. How come you can't come up with a snappy new thread title one of these times? Something like: "The Chit Chat Thread for Mafians - Now considered a good source of Calcium!"

Your mission, if you choose to accept it. I'm trying to find a short film I remember watching ten years ago or so, maybe only 5 minutes long.
It dealt with a family, father, mother, sexy teenage daughter, and a little child only a couple years old. They are on the side of the road, flat tire or something, and the teenager is stretched out seductively on the car. A car comes speeding by, gets distracted by the girl, and the little kid runs into the street, gets killed.
Big court case, settlement, then time passes, and there's a scary ending I'd rather not spoil.
Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

I think 'IIII' is an acceptable alternative to 'IV'... at least on clock faces, but that might be due to symmetry issues.
On a side note, I am just missing a few Weird Actions, so Al might reopen today with a little luck...

We don't get SyFy up here. But I've got a digital cable box that I never watch, so that's fine. Mainly I watch walkthroughs of old games or old tv shows on Youtube. I hardly ever watch tv. Which would explain why I'm out of it when it comes to current events.

In the east an eye blinks,
The currents change,
A Flutterby finds its destiny.
The sun rises,
Wanting to warm the west,
Melt the snow.
A long road trip,
Not just endure, but live,
Both east and west.
Happiness is there, and here,
Yet a puzzle piece always missing,
Until the Flutterby is home.

I don't think it's a viral video, it's from way before YouTube. Plus it was quite cinematic. Rokk thinks he knows it... I know others had to've seen it.
This is the ending that I remember. Don't click on it if you don't want to be spoiled once we figure out what it is:
Basically, it's like I said, the family wins a lot of money in the settlement... then as we get to the ending, the family has another car on the side of the road, and the daughter is a bit older, but again, laying out on the car, and a speeding car is coming down the road.
The daughter suddenly says something like "Now." and the pareNts push the new little kid into the road so he's hit by the car (so basically it's all one big murder/fraud scheme). And that's how it ends

Ha! We get Spike up here! So I'm not totally out of the loop!
Oh and I'm glad that Obi Wan left him there. I don't consider Christensen to be Darth Vader, I consider him to be just Hayden Christensen. So when I look at it, Obi Wan isn't leaving Darth Vader there to burn and suffer, he's leaving Christensen to. After the awful job he did in those movies, he deserved it. Too bad Jake Lloyd couldn't have joined him.

Actually, I did some of it. It wasn't bad. I've only seen the original series of BSG and the first two eps of the next generation (not sure what it's actually being called, so TNG is good for me). I do plan on watching all of it at some point. It's interesting to see the name Adama and wonder how the family gets from where it is now to where it is in the original series. I think you just decided where I'm going for lunch :)
Always a good decision. The only thing I really ever have to decide is whether it's going to be Chinese, Japanese, or Mongolian.
Mongolian typically wins, because I like to put on a fake beard, ride my steer into the restaurant, and chop off the waiter's head before I sit down for my meal. The other restaurants frown upon that. Bastards.

WE don't have cable so DVD box sets are the way to go for us. Only shows we watch in prime time (usually late due to DVR) are Lost, Smallville, and Survivor. Everything else is DVD only. And yeah, it makes shows that much better. Plus, when a season only costs $17, it's cheaper than taking the wife to see a movie. In fact, I got the entire BSG series for what it would have cost me to get a babysitter and pay for dinner and a movie with the wife.
minus the wife, the babysitter, and dinner part...it's what I do >.> I got season 1 of Fringe for 10 dollars at best buy, got seasons 1 and 3 of Dexter for 15 bucks each, rented season 2 for 3 dollars from blockbuster, got seasons 1 and 2 of Bones for 30 bucks (was a holiday combo pack back near christmas) got season 3 of Heroes for 17 bucks and season 2 of Heroes for 12 bucks at a going out of business sale from a movie rental place, borrowed season 1 from the base library(the actual state library has a better selection, gets all the new seasons of every show...but hard to find it, or atleast in order...) and I have all but season 4 of House -_-; for some odd reason last time it was on sale, they had all 1-5 on sale for 15 bucks each, and well they had tons of 5 but none of 4 T_T I had 1-3 from christmas from the year before...I am looking for Lie To Me, True Blood, 24 season 1, Glee, and I need Bones season 4, though not sure how that is going to be without Zach but the first 3 episodes(the first one of the season is a 2 hour special, though it doesn't seem like it is that long...) are in season 3 due to writers strike

Just call an admissions office, and see if you can call a counselor. Counselors, by and large, are super nice, and will do everything they can to get you into the class you want to take. I'm personally not a big fan of signing up for stuff online, because some schools are pathetic about updating their online schedules.

Uhm, wrong and wrong.
Back to the back pain ... found this:
Cold Therapy with Ice
Cold therapy with ice is the best immediate treatment for acute injuries because it reduces swelling and pain. Ice is a vaso-constrictor (it causes the blood vessels to narrow) and it limits internal bleeding at the injury site. Apply ice (wrapped in a thin towel for comfort)to the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Allow the skin temperature to return to normal before icing a second or third time. You can ice an acute injury several times a day for up to three days.
Cold therapy is also helpful in treating some overuse injuries or chronic pain in athletes. An athlete who has chronic knee pain that increases after running may want to ice the injured area after each run to reduce or prevent inflammation. It's not helpful to ice a chronic injury before exercise.
The best way to ice an injury is with a high quality ice pack that conforms to the body part being iced. Examples include ColdOne Cold Therapy Wraps and SnowPack Cold Therapy products. You can also get good results from a bag of frozen peas, an ice massage with water frozen in a paper cup (peel the cup down as the ice melts) or a bag of ice.
Read more about how to safely use ice on injuries.
Heat Therapy
Heat is generally used for chronic injuries or injuries that have no inflammation or swelling. Sore, stiff, nagging muscle or joint pain is ideal for the use of heat therapy. Athletes with chronic pain or injuries may use heat therapy before exercise to increase the elasticity of joint connective tissues and to stimulate blood flow. Heat can also help relax tight muscles or muscle spasms. Don't apply heat after exercise. After a workout, ice is the better choice on a chronic injury.
Because heat increases circulation and raises skin temperature, you should not apply heat to acute injuries or injuries that show signs of inflammation. Safely apply heat to an injury 15 to 20 minutes at a time and use enough layers between your skin and the heating source to prevent burns.
Moist heat is best, so you could try using a hot wet towel. You can buy special athletic hot packs or heating pads if you use heat often. Never leave heating pads on for more than 20 minutes at a time or while sleeping.
Because some injuries can be serious, you should see your doctor if your injury does not improve (or gets worse) within 48 hours.

It is just confusing, if you ever watch Fringe it starts out she isn't that hot, she is kind of meh, then she is, then she isn't, then she is  I think somethings it is her nose/eyes/mouth area of her face...her nose tends to seem like she has a real bad cold and I think either her eyes are too low or her forehead is too big...but it seems like it is only sometimes it is like that...and it confuses the hell out of me...maybe I just should stop thinking about it so much, though she has a pretty hot photo shoot in Esquire from last month...I thought I hadn't gotten it yet as I guess I was expecting them to have her on the cover, but it is Leo on the cover...now I am waiting for this month's issue to come in the mail...

Never fill up with anything less than 89. They preach about how that Ethanol improves the environment, but I know and understand farming and the ethanol production process enough to know that it's a load of horse####. Ethanol decreases your MPG. Most gas pumps aren't allowed to have more than 10%, which is 87. Even then, you are going to be gassing up again later. You do not get your money's worth with Ethanol, you get worse gas mileage than normal, meaning you are consuming more gas than you were before, and, oh yeah, producing the #### consumes gas too.
My cousins, who own one of the largest pork farms in the world, outright refuse to give a second thought to ethanol production. Whenever asked, they put it simply: "We make enough money. We're here to try to feed people. That's our role in society."
Apologies to anyone here that knows a farmer that got in on this ridiculous hoax, as I know lots of them are struggling, and really had no choice at all. But Ethanol is not an answer. If you had 83, you got it from a Co-op station, which means they put a ####-ton of Ethanol in your tank. If this was recent, I'd put fuel cleaner in your tank, as well.
Next time you come through here, stop at Grand Island for fuel. I'll come out and fill it up myself out at the Travel Center. Sapp Bros. and Bosselman's handle all of that, and they're centered right in GI. The prices go up if you go east or west of GI. Scout's honor.*

We have good gas. 83 is 83. As in, the #### you should never ever put in your tank. I know of like one station in Grand Island that has that low quality gas, and it is, of course, a co-op station. 79. You can fill up your tank for like 5 bucks, and then run out when you drive a block.
