Critically hitting two targets

Hi!

If you launch a multiple ranged energy explotion combat attack against to targets where both targets are adjacent to eachother and give them a critical hit, what will be their total clicks of damage? By the latest FAQ I guess its only 3 clicks each...

Rolling a critical hit adds +1 to your damage. Energy Explosion does 1 click. Add +1 and you are now at 2.

Target 2 figures that are adjacent and each one is hit for 2 +2 from the splash damage of the other. You are now at 4 on each target.

Deduct any defense bonuses (-2 for a failed Impervious, Invulnerability, and -1 for Toughness) and calculate the total damage.

Execute the the Knockback starting from the farthest figure and add any additional damage they may receive from the Knockback effects.
