View Full Version : Winnetka, CA - Brave and the Bold Release Tournament 4/18/2010

I am pleased to announce that Collector's Paradise Comics and Gallery will be hosting a Release Tournament for The Brave and the Bold on Sunday, April 18th, 2010, at 1PM. The format will be 300pts Sealed, and the entry fee will be $24 plus tax (price of two boosters). Prizes will be: 1st place - Black Lantern 3d Object, Fellowship - Black Lantern 3d Object, Participation - Graveyard Map (First 9 players). The plan is to run events every other Sunday, but tournament dates/times will be announced as soon as they are finalized.

Collector's Paradise is located at:
7131 Winnetka Ave.
Winnetka, CA 91306

We are just off the corner of Sherman Way and Winnetka, south of Sherman Way. There is parking in the lot, on Winnetka and just around the corner on Gault St.

Update - All systems are go for this tournament! We spoke to Alliance today, and we will be receiving our OP kit, as well as a "Promo Kit", which I believe is our Black Lantern prize support. Los Angeles 'clixers, come on out and support our venue! We hope to run events for a long time, but it can't happen without you! Please PM me if you have any questions.

Awesome! I'm thinking that I'll make the 30 mile trip from LAX Area to go to this. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Being in-experienced with how a tournament is run, what will I need to bring? I was thinking dice, rule-book and PAC chart. Do you recommend anything else?

Beyond what you've listed, bring object tokens if you have them, and action tokens. Other than that, I recommend a LOF tool (like a retractable cardholder, or similar) if you have one.

Final reminder - Sealed tournament, 300pts, be there or be square! 2 booster purchase required to play. Game starts at 1PM, 3 50-minute rounds, prize is the Black Lantern special object.
