View Full Version : Probability Control Question, Need A Judge
My friend, my little brother and I were playing, and a disagreement came up about probability control. I had successfully mind controlled his veteran Rouge with my White Queen and moved it over next to his unique Elektra and succsessfully hit it. My brother had an experienced Black Cat and told me to re-roll my attack role I re-rolled and hit again but my friend told me that I was cheating and that my brother should take my dice and re roll for me. I refused because I thought that the person who was making the attack had to re-roll the dice themselves, not the person whose character used the probability control. I am 100% sure that I am right but I would like to have some clarification. And also, where could I get a more in-depth explanation of the rules?

All probability control does is it allows or forces a person to roll again as if the first roll never took place. The other player should never roll for your attack and vice versa. This goes for anything that you have to make a roll for like leadership, support or super senses.
Thanks, thats what I thought, mabye now he will stop arguing the rules.
If he suspects you’re cheating with loaded dice, he does have the right to switch dice with you at any time. However, he can’t make any rolls for you.
(And yes, there apparently are people out there who use loaded dice in this game. The shop I play at was cleaning up one day after a couple of new guys came in and one of them one the tourney. He found a dice that was both rigged so that it had both two fives AND was weighted in such a way that it rolled a 5 or 6 about 9 out of 10 times. I’m hoping that they’re stupid enough to come back.)
Well, he doesn't think that, we've been friends for a number of years, I think that he just didn't want me to win. But you might have some more good advice, check this out, it's the same person http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27300[/URL]

He just wanted to win. Just making ####ed exuses. Cheesy and dishonorable in my opinion. Shows a complete lack of maturity.
