This is just something that’s been bugging me. Are heavy objects considered blocking or hindering terrain for the purposes of movement and targeting? I’ve always been told by the guys I play with that they’re blocking, but when I look it up in the rulebook it says that all objects are considered hindering. This ended up hampering me in a game the other night – I had E Grundy lose Super-Strength and drop his object, and it was ruled that he couldn’t move because he was now stuck on top of the blocking terrain. It took me three turns before Logan could flurry the object and get him down. It didn’t make sense (does Grundy drop the object and then jump on top?), but then again neither does Energy Explosion bypassing Impervious.
It isn’t so much of a factor in Friday night friendly play (it comes in handy, because the objects can then be used to block LOS too), but I want to make sure I’m clear on this before competing in any major tournaments.
