Are you asking if you can use Hivemind to increase a Cuckoo's damage value to 3?

If so, what makes you think you couldn't do so?

Hivemind lets you modifiy the Cuckoos' combat values.

Nothing more and nothing less. So if you choose to modify the damage value, you could indeed destroy an object or a wall or blocking terrain with the Cuckoos.
