If two opposing figures are b2b and figure A is pushed, does it make sense that figure B needs to roll a breakaway? Figure A just took a click from pushing (equal to between 10% and 25% of their total health) and will be frozen next turn.

Hmm, just realized this is only kinda a push question but, onward and upward.
Figure A hits figure B and causes knockback. If figure B hits a wall it takes damage, but if a figure (call this one C) is directly behind then there is no damage and the figure remains where it is. It would make more sense if figure C is given an action token to represent being hit by (and tangled up with) figure B. It might also make sense if figure B was given an action token as well (which would cause push, so i'm not totally off topic).

scenario A: Yeah I think it still makes sense. Just because Figura A can't go next turn, it is still in melee battle with Fig B--they are just a little more "tired" as represented by push damage. Fig B should still have to struggle (breakaway) to get away. Now, if Fig A was pushed because they were Incapacitated it would make more sense for Fig B not to roll breakaway. Still for simplicity's sake, I think it makes sense to require B to roll for breakaway.

scenario B: Good point. I always thought that Fig C should take damage from the hit--or in Newtonian Physics, be knocked back themselves (every action has an equal, and opposite, reaction). But then I think that Super Strength figures should be able to throw figures as well. Who knows, maybe a rule change in the future? If not, I think you have good material for a house rule, less simplicity in the game notwithstanding.
