is this a good 500 pt avenger team

me and my friends are having a themed battle and this is my team
so far

I'm not a great player or anything but would you really want to sacrafice every turn? I mean it's a 500 pt game. You have 5 moves to begin with. You are proposing a four man team which already limits you to a maximum of 4 actions. Are they powerful characters? Sure they are but if someone came up with a team that had cheaper character with either Close Combat Expert or Ranged Combat Expert (Bullseye, and Firelord come to mind) they can attack and do 3 - 5 clix of Damage for every sucessful action. If I were in a 500 point game I'd be looking for more actions and not less. If you want to restrict yourself to Avengers my first recruit would be a few E Wasps (i think they are 34 pts a piece) If you can swing it I might put in a Unique Wasp for 44 pts instead of 1 of the E Wasp. You gain leadership and a higher defense. Then I'd look at having some heavy hitters on the team.

I think you should definitely grab yourself a Rookie Black Panther. Outwit is an awesome power to have in your arsenal. (27 point)

So far you have this going:

Wasp U 44 + Wasp E 34 + R Black Panther 27 =105
or
2 x Wasp E + R Black Panther = 95

Ok for another 40 points give yourself a safety net and grab a veteran Scarlet Witch for Probability Control. Once every turn you can second chance fate by making yourself or an opponent re-roll.

So Option A is now = 145
or Option B is 135

V. Hercules is not bad for 83 points.

Option A = 228
Option B = 218

V Hawkeye 64 points (running shot and RCE is a nice combo)

Option A = 292
Option B = 282

Let's Assume you want to use your V. Thor 187 pts.

Option A =489 (i'd want a medic and at this point it's gonna be tough)
Option B = 469 (17 point AIM Medic would be good or 16 point Shield Medic)

You could also go other ways at this point drop a character or lower thor to his Rookie version 109 points
Option A = 401
Option B = 391

Add A V. AIM Medic for 17 Points
A: 418
B: 408

Another option is throw thor out altogether and use V SheHulk
120 Pts.

Option A:= 412
Option B: =402

You still have acess to almost a hundred points

You could double up on Outwit, You could throw in Quicksilver, You could double up on Hawkeye for RCE. You could even include Captain America or Black Widow.

The Expensive Uniques are cool without a doubt. but what would you do in your second turn after you just used all four of your team members. Are you gonna push? Do you want to be the one who beats you? Then in the third turn you will have to pass.

Meanwhile ..... your opponent who came in with some Firelords, Bullseyes and a kingpin is making attacks and resting and taxi-ing and getting an extra move for a sucessful leadership roll.

Make the most of your turns .... examine the dial and delegate your points with a plan in place.
