Hey guys!

I am a big fan of Veteran Boomerang and his 3 lightning bolts plus energy explosion. Here is my question.

If Boomerang fires at 3 targets with energy explosion and the targets are arranged like this:

***BS**
*******
**123**
**456**
IIIIIIIIIIII

The numbers represent enemy figures, the astericks represent open space and IIIII are a wall or the edge of the map. B represents Boomerang. S is a Shield Agent. If Boomerang shoots at targets 1,2, and 3 with energy explosion and has his damage increased to 2 and rolls doubles (say he rolls double 4's=8+9=17). Then by rule, 1,2,3,4,5,6, should all suffer knockback. According to the FAQ, you start with the characters farthest out and move them away from whoever the Energy Explosion hit.

Since enemy character 4 will receive knockback from both character 1 and 2 does character 4 receive 2 clicks from hitting the wall behind him twice? By rule, Energy Explosion is a simultaneous attack and everything happens at once. So theoretically, character 4 would take 2 splash damage from character 1, 2 splash damage from character 2, then 2 more clicks from the knockback from characters 1 and 2 for a total of 6 clicks of damage.

Could you follow all that? Is that right? Judges?

Since figure 4,5 and 6 cannot be knocked back any further... they would just take the 1 extra click of damage for hitting the wall for a total of 5 damage (2 splash from 1, 2 splash from 2, 1 for knockback into wall).

Figures who are knocked back into other figures do not cause damage....
