I played in a tournament over the weekend and made it to the finals with this team:
Bullseye (Vet)
Wasp (Unq)
Cyclopse (Vet)
Nightcrawler (Unq)
Shield Medic (Vet)
Black Panther (Exp)
Now when I got to the finals the team I faced was:
Dr. Strange (Vet)
Magneto (Vet)
Shield Medic (Exp)
Invisible Girl (Rok)
Human Torch (Exp)
His formation was Strange, Torch, and Mags in front and Medic and Invisible girl in back. He used Invisible Girls defend to boost everyones defense to 18 and she was in stleath behind them. All 3 of the front guys have Energy shield/Deflection so thats +2 against range combat now there at 20 defend. He also had all 3 sitting on hindering terrain that is now another +1 against range he is now at a 21 defend against all 3. He started by pushing Strange so he can get into enhance then he used that for the Torch and the medic to boost torches energy explosion to 3 dmg. Of course that hit Nightcrawler and Black Panther so it was the beginning of the end then.
Please help me I know I will meet up against him again. This was Marvel only tournament for 300pts.
P.S. The aftermath was he clobbered me I didn't take any points. I ened up falling down to 6th place cause of that :(
