does turn on your allies work on wild cards with the team ability??? it said team ability not team symbol so just wondering.

The text reads "Friendly characters modify their damage by +1 when they attack opposing characters that possess the same team ability they do."

As wildcards do not possess other team abilities (they merely use them), they are not affected based on their choice. The only team ability they "possess" is the one that appears as a symbol on their base (with only a few rare exceptions for figures like Cr Nightwing, who has a special power granting him possession of other team abilities).

Thunderbolts would also cause a character to possess a seemingly different (than Avengers) TA.

But, nope, definitely not wild cards
