Anyone know Balloonatic personally?

Does anyone know "Balloonatic" on a personal basis? I had made a trade with him a few months ago when he was trying to gather clix stuff for his after school clix program. I sent him a bunch of maps and other gaming accessories and he agreed to ship me a Venus SR fig in return.

About a month passed of me PMing him and him ignoring me and then I finally got a message from him apologizing and saying that he had been having banking issues but that they were now sorted out. He asked me again for my address which I gave him.

Now two months later, still no Venus SR and he is once again ignoring my PMs. I reluctantly left negative trade feedback which I would be happy to replace with positive feedback if he would just send me my figure. Anyways, if anyone here on the realms knows him, can they please talk some sense into him!? He never struck me as the scamming type...

I don't know him personally, but that is why I never send figures to people asking for them so they can start up some kind of club or whatever the reasons are. I have only sent figures free of charge to someone who was out of a Job and really wanted Arkham figures, and before I sent them I contacted a mod to find out if the person was on the up and up, and it worked out well, I got great feedback from the person and he was happy, and I sent them a lot of figures that they wanted including a SR from the set because I had extras and wasn't doing anything with them. You have to be careful when people are just asking for figures to be donated as it could all be a scam. I know Timashi tried doing that a while back and well his reputation is less than stellar! Just be careful when doing these kinds of things and always, always ask questions.

Same story here, Prof. My friend Michael, who owned our LCS, and I sent off about 200 clix to Balloonatic, and he said he'd send us a couple of those Super Rares as a thank you (Sentry and Citizen V). Michael passed away about two weeks after we sent the clix, and I've tried several times to get ahold of Balloonatic so I could get those two SRs for Michael's kids, and I was hoping a thank you card for his wife from the "clix club."

It's been months, and I still haven't heard back.

I sent a rather large package that included the Hellboy set. I PM'd the #### out of him because I wanted to know if it arrived and was asked to specify the contents because he had gotten so many and not all had ID's from the Realms on them. I elaborated on the contents and then didn't hear back.

Still, seemed stand up to me. Just a busy fellow. :ermm:
