Rock Wars: Glee, the Infamy

I actually went and downloaded episode 1 of Glee last night and its all because of this latest Rock War! I haven't watched it, yet. Probably will tonite when the kids come over.

I've never even been remotely interested in the show. I only watch one TV show all year long: American Idol...though I can't believe I just confessed that here. The only other time my TV is turned on is when I'm working out or watching a DVD.

So help me....if you people get me hooked on that show.....

This is like "Across the Universe" (limited song selection, pre-selected, and all covers), and I thought that there were only a couple of good songs in that whole thing. :cool:

It's a bit over-the-top perhaps, but it knows it. As for the music, well I suppose you can't please everyone, Surfer13. Personally, I enjoy it a lot. Well, most of it. But if you like what you're hearing in the Rock Wars, songwriterz, you should enjoy the show. Hope you do.

And you said you'd watch it "when the kids come over". Just a caution, don't know how old "the kids" are, but it ain't High School Musical. Definitely some PG-13 moments

I only have one preteen child left. One of my kids watched Glee for the first time last night and she loved it. Still haven't watched it myself yet, though.

Funny bit on the timing here.

At the time it was picked as the next Rock Wars, I hadn't seen a single episode of Glee. It looked okay, and was being suggested to me by the same friends who have dragged me (kicking and screaming) to watch Buffy and Veronica Mars and such (which I've since purchased on DVD). So, right after Glee wins as the topic of the next RW, my wife brings home the DVDs from the library.

So between it being chosen and the first round going up I have since watched the entire series. :cheeky:
