Sightings / Prices of BatB in Australia

Everyone knows the drill, Information on BatB (or the starter) to be posted here. Lets see
A) how long it takes to hit our shores, and
B) How much it costs per booster/brick/case

If it is similar price to HoT, I may grab a brick, otherwise I will cherrypick a few boosters and pick up the remaining singles I am after

This is the first set in many years where my store actually got it in BEFORE the release date. They wouldn't sell it until release day of course, but it certainly gave me peace of mind that they had it, since we're going to run a sealed tournament tonight.

They're selling it at $17.95 a booster, or $155 for a brick. That's Good Games Ballarat in case you were wondering. He managed to get in 10 bricks, 5 of which sold straight away, so he's got 5 bricks left (probably 3 and a half after the sealed tourney tonight).

If you want me to grab some for you I'd be happy to. They're also open Thursday-Sunday nights until midnight if you wanted to make the trip up to Ballarat.

I know that Sydney Tin Soldier has it to sell, also at $17.95 a booster, though they told me over the phone they weren't offering a discount for a brick, so the full $179.50 for one. They also told me they weren't selling cases as they had received limited stock.

Kings Comics in Sydney also has them, and is selling them for $15.95 a booster, so that's where I'm getting my case from.

Mindgames in Melb CBD had a small amount to test the water, No brick price, $18.00 a booster

picked up one, got Bruce wayne, Jason Blood, Damian Wayne, Etrigan and Goodness/mercy

Tactics in Perth are selling boosters for $18 and bricks $155.

Considering the strong aussie dollar at the moment, I was really hoping to see the price of boosters improve a little with this set.

I reckon the aussie distributor is probably pocketing the extra fat though. :( Makes buying from the States a lot more tempting (especially considering how hard it is to get a BiBtB fig here).

From what I know in Adelaide at Kollectable Kaos they had 2 cases and 7 boosters and I know they all sold.

Tin Soldier has sold out of their initial shipment. I think it was five cases? Kings Comics still has some left.

Goodgames in Ballarat still has quite a few as well.

You should come up for New Guy Night in a few weeks and grab one.The owner managed to get us some of the FCBD War Machines to give away (or if you prefer you can grab a Bruce, Clark or Diana LE).

Love to but can not make it, I'm on call pretty much every second week, Those weeks I can not leave Melbourne incase something goes wrong and I have to go straight into the office. Pity I saw the events in the email and thought it looked like a lot of fun to play. (war of light looks awesome fun)
