So, are we getting generic street judges as well as Dredd in the new Indy Clix?

I believe this had already been discussed in the Indy Clix threads but it'll depend on the size of the set and therefore how many slots each publisher/company would get to fill.
Myself, I'd rather have perps for Dredd to bust before backup to help him to do the busting :D

Personally, I want enough Judges be able to come in and arrest everyone involved in the battle, the "good" and the "bad", and throw all of them in Iso-cubes for the rest of their lives. Either that or kick them all out into the cursed earth. Superheroes are illegal in Mega City One.

Dredd has been the integral part of the weekly 2000AD since issue 2,way back in 77 and was based on Clint Eastwood.
Anyway,2000AD was published by IPC in the UK for many a year although individual stories have been reprinted by Eagle and DC in the smaller US format. It has spawned the Megazine,a monthly that's been going as long as i can remember and, briefly, the risible movie-spin-off-comic.
I still posess the late 70's 20-25mil lead miniatures of the Dark Judges and Don Uggi Appelino and the Ape Gang(issue 49)and will get some pics down asap. These were the first ever and you could also get Dredd and,i think,Anderson. Also in the late 70's during the 'Cursed Earth' saga IPC tied Dredd in with a noteable toy car manufacturer to promote a die-cast vehicle that turned into 2 vehicles.
A couple of years later(1980?) GW brought out the Judge Dredd boardgame where you had a set of perps and a set of crimes,so catching Judge Death for littering was a definite possibility!White Dwarf(at that time still a fairly independant roleplayers magazine)even had Bolland do the cover when they reviewed it.
THEN came the rpg in the mid-eighties and it wasn't based on Warhammer40k although still a GW title. It's major downfall was you could only be a Judge so i suppose the new d20 rpg is a welcome addition.
As far as the movie goes they were always going to have to create a reason for Dredd/Stallone to remove his helmet.$$$.Once it's off you get used to it,as i like to say to the ladies.
Dammit,i only woke up in the middle of the night to look up 'Tharg'(2000AD's alien editor)and found but one reference, here.
They've GOT TO do him as a unique.GOT TO.He can fly, edit the best magazine in the galaxy, eat plastic cups and ,more importantly, dish out Rigelian Hotshots. The range of one of these things is awesome and i wouldn't want to be on the receiving end.Horrible thing is that i just know he's been overlooked and when i say overlooked,i mean FOR*******GOTTEN!!!
Well i hope Wizkids prove me wrong, otherwise i wish them nothing but nightmares, and not little plastic ones either!
Mainly reprinted from the 'dredd' thread.Wizkids are analysing my pro-anglo bile and will be keeping us brits hanging on for the decent figs for at least the next three sets of indyclix. It's almost like it's not in our interest to post.
Might as well be pist off now cos it'll get a lot cheezier later.

Just thought of a way to get all the Generic Judges I want. I'll just ink out the word Dredd on all my Rs and Es, leaving the V as the big man himself. Perps beware. The Judges are coming in force to maintain order in Mega City One. Look out Batman, Dredd wants a rematch. I cannot wait for IndyClix.

BTW: The d20 Dredd rpg is great. Suppliments are first rate too.
