Green Lantern and green arrow question

Must Help...My Sidekick...The Junkie!: Green Lantern and Green Arrow ignore damage dealt by characters using Poison. Friendly characters do not take pushing damage if they can use Poison and are adjacent to Green Lantern and Green Arrow when the pushing damage is applied.

Haven't thought about this in a while, does the character with poison have to have it showing on the dial or not. Thanks!

it would follow the same ruling as feats, it must be able to use the power at the time that it would activate.


Meaning yes, they can't use it when its not showing.
