Duo mechanic change??

We have heard there is going to be a change to the duo mechanic. We now have the set to end all sets when it comes to duos. If it's true the rule is going to be tweaked, is there a reason why we haven't heard about it? Do we really have to wait until the starter?

If it's just a rumor and never had an real ground to stand on, could someone let us know that to? *cough norm this thread is directed in your general direct cough*

Just curious - as I'm anxious to see if some of these duos will become staples in teams. As right now, not so much.

They just posted over on wizkids about the rulebook changes. Nothing about the Duo mechanic. Looks like no change

Forget duos, what about poison? Without Armor piercing it's not useful.
Metallo has Poison as part of his KRYPTONIE heart. It's kryptonite and kills Batman, but never even affects Superman.

Posion Ivy & Harley are immune to poion but have almost a full dial of toughness?
I though for sure this was an indication that they were going to change it to be penetrating.

there has been no rumor of change. Only people starting post "I hope they change Duo" and similar stiff like that, just like with outwit and poison and tons of other stuff.

The duo mechanic right now is to powerful to make it work with other powers.

Look at Superman/Flash if it worked with powers that would be 10 clicks of damage with a 20 movement, two borken for the game.
