Is it just me, or would putting Pounce on Mister Miracle and Oberon be kinda nasty?

Does indomitable keep them from taking the push damage???

As far as I know, until it is errated, yes.

No, Pounce changed in Origin to say "unavoidable damage." So Indom will not protect you from the Pounce damage.

IF you play The Origins pounce. That's just like playing the old Sinister Vendetta- which is moot now because Arch-Enemies are no longer an existing play-mechanic.

Last I was aware, the old printed card is still as printed- but *shrug*

No, the rules say that new cards with the same name supercede the older cards. So old "Pounce" card is adjusted to be the new text (look in the Player's Guide for the updated text).

Just like Flashbang -- you're not supposed to use the 5 point permanent card, you are supposed to use the 3 point disposable card.

Now, if you choose to ignore the rules, that's up to you...

And you don't get the bonus to attack from Pounce since it only adds a bonus to the standard attack symbol.

Lesson learned, thanks y'all! Have they errated Haymaker for indomitable duos yet?

Talia would have ben broken if not for that trai :( I had the absolute perfect 500 point team. Nothing is truly unstoppable but this team would have been close.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. I'll find that Anti-Life Equation eventually.

What about it needs errata? It works just as it's supposed to work.

Plus I don't think it ever got reprinted.

The card says attackers with a single fist get -1 to their attack, so duos get no penalty, and the card says 1 pushing damage that ignores willpower and team abilities, but says nothing about indomitable figs. That means Power Man and Iron Fist, should they choose to not do their duo attack, get +2 to every attack for ten points of feat, right? Or am I missing something?

That's correct. You're also paying a lot more for a character with the duo attack and indomitable abilities. These little nuances are just extra, possibly unintended, benefits you get for paying the price of duos with indomitable.

HOWEVER, for those of you reading the new PAC rules, when the Blackest Night starter gets released, the Indom :d-indomitable: loophole for those old, unreprinted feats has been closed.

:d-indomitable: is now defined as "This character can use Willpower."

So all the loopholes that existed because ":d-indomitable: does not equal Willpower" are closed...

Thank God, Ultron plus Nova Blast still gives me nightmares. Rep for you.
