(1) Move an Opposing Character: This character makes one close combat or ranged combat attack against a single target that deals no damage. If the attack succeeds and the target has or possesses the damage symbol (but is not a double-base figure), move the target up to 8 squares so long as it ends its movement 8 or fewer squares from this character. (2) Move an Object or a Friendly Character: This character targets an object or a friendly character that is 8 or fewer squares away and moves it up to 8 squares so long as it ends its movement 8 or fewer squares from this character in a square to which this character has a clear line of fire.

I was wondering if friendly Double-base figures can be telekenisis'd the same way a friendly Giant figure can be telekenisis'd.

The short answer is no.

From the FF Rulebook, pg 20:
Double-base characters can’t be moved by Telekinesis, can’t be knocked
back, and ignore other characters’ Force Blast.

It says move... so would you ignore the normal movement rules, such as stopping when coming adjacent to an opposing character, or entering hindering terrain? I know in games we've played, we'll throw someone up on a building. So are you placing them, or moving them? Sorry for the dumb questions.

So does that mean that Mister Miracle and Oberon's special power is useless? The one where they grant an adjacent friendly character is granted TK option 2 but only if they target MM and Obie.

Yeah it is move as normal. If you become adjacent you have to stop. If your target starts adjacent to an opposing charc, you have to role for breakaway. you can still put them up on a building, but you need LOF ofcourse.

The moving/placing thing is the prob I have with TK. I dont see wolvie breaking away from an opponet just to have jean move him, She just would. And when she moved him she wouldn't drop him next to destiny bcuz she's in the path, she's drop him by mags.

I really hope this gets changed with upcoming rule book.

I'm fairly certain that MM&O will get to ignore that rule. Only time will tell.

Well that seems like poor planning on their part doesn't it. I mean, couldn't we have given them a different power, or just dropped it and made them a little cheaper. They are a fun figure to play just a bummer that power is useless.

I don't keep track of where I post what, but yes, there will be errata so that MM/O can be TK'd via their special power.

I figured they would have to. I mean, that would be like giving energy explosion to a character with zero range. That never happens! :noid:

Thank you very much Q! You are a saint and a scholar, or at least very good with the computer.

I am not sure he has the keywords to meet the Prereqs. I haven't seen his card yet.
