So there I am, getting creamed by an Ultron with a three Shield back up (2 Doombots and a medic) and it doesn't dawn on me to have my flyers go into soaring mode, getting them out of the line of fire and cutting Ultron's range in half. Oops!

On the other hand, my rookie Cyclops is able to do a serious hurt to his Firelord, which allowed my other guys to take the ex-herald out fairly quickly. My secret? Needing to roll a nine and rolling a nine. I think too many players only attack if they have an easy roll. Where's the fun in that?

Yeah... the kill is so much more glorious when you have to roll high to hit. btw i once had a hydra medic take down the thing by rolling nothing but criticals. i guess she had some sort of powerful tranq in that gun o' hers.

Oh the infamy of it all! I once had a Hydra Op finish off a rookie Hercules, that was fun.

On another subject, the last four times I tried to use a medic, I failed to roll high enough to make the healing roll. Lousy HMO!

And then one more thing: ya ever use a thug just as cannon fodder? Utterly worthless? Not at all! That Sabertooth had to waste a turn offing him!

I had a veteran Hulk and a rookie thug next to each other. My bro had the Key. He didn't want to have key take damage by Mind Controling Hulk, so he took over the Thug, Outwitted the Hulk's Invulnerability, and attacked with the thug.
Anything less than critical hit would have missed, but the thug rolled critical hit and dealt my poor hulk two clicks of damage, plus one knockback!
Even though it was my Hulk that he hit, I was awful proud of that thug...
