Dude, a new set *just* came out! I know it's DC, but give em a break! I'm sure we'll see something soon.

Hi, you can find a pic of the Stan Lee Special Edition figure that is only available at conventions and the Digi-Sculpt of Ironman/War Machin Duo, both Marvel on my page. There are also the first Watchmen sculpts, just scroll down... The page is in German, but has a translation function!

I'll never understand the one-company mindset.

I actually fall into the one-company camp. My entry into heroclix was wanting to game the comics battles I had read and been reading. I have tried 3 times to get into DC comics but for different reasons in different times of my life, I have just not been able to connect with DCU, so I made the decision to not purchase DC figs because the fun of the game to me is to make comics teams that function well together. Comics accurate synergy is the most fun to me. I even like to imagine what the characters would be saying to each other and how they would be interacting on the battlefield.

Because I don't know DCU, I don't have a basis for engaging this part of my imagination. Therefore, I get bored by gaming these characters, so I choose not to play or acquire DCU. I am intrigued by their rules and dials, so from the heroclix perspective, I am familiar with them, especially since I have to deal with them on the board, but I don't want to operate them.

So bring on the WoS preview, NECA! :)

Nor do I, but it doesn't mean I don't want to see awesome pictures of my boy, Groot!

Nice try Professor, but you do realize that those present at that slideshow or whatever it was were not allowed to take pics of any kind? I want to see more just as bad as you do, trust me, but it sounds like when we see something next it will definitely be on their terms...

I can tell you I feel old fighting off my middle-aged nerdrage everytime I hear someone wanting something called a "groot" before we get Charlie-27 and Martinex.

Ummm Groot predates either of those characters by SOOOOOO many years. Groot Predates MARVEL

He made his first appearance in Tales to Astonish Vol.1 #13 (November 1960)

Charlie-27 and Martinex first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes with issue #18 (Jan. 1969)

That's nearly a DECADE before your much vaunted characters (LAWYERED!)

Trust me, I'd be all for a T2A Groot without the Guardians keyword. That would make the kids go nuts.

I'll never understand the one-company mindset.

Marvel fans never read a Flash book and DC fans never read a. . . oooh, yeah. Kinda seeing how it works from one direction now.

I like both companies. . . really I'm not against anything but genericlix.

I would love to see conformation of a new Nightcrawler. He's my absolute favorite character between either company. I'm hoping they have at least a handful (can they manage 5 figures out of 60?) of figures with the X-Men team ability.
