Injustice League team ability has needed an overhaul for a long time.
Now as I understand it, Injustice Leaguers , if they attack the same character, will get a token but it will not count towards thier allotment of tokens. Well, the team ability has improved but I believe the overall use of IL is not good and needs to be throw out.
Lets look at this mathematically. If you run a 200 pt team and have four IL figs and they attack the same figure, all your fig could attack the same character or 3 and 1 or 2 and 2. Sounds good. Now if you have a four hundred point team and you have 6 figures on it, all with IL (averaging 66 points) you would have 2 free attacks (still getting the tokens) in one turn if all figures are not pushed. Sounds okay.
The real fact is that only 4 IL figures are 50 points or less (2 from hypertime) and 9 that are 66 or less (11 if you use IL keyword). So because of the high cost of IL team ability the ability they gain is almost useless to them. If copied, it will certaining be more useful for others, but overall, not useful enough to make it worth the cost, by a long way.
I would love my IL figures to have Masters of Evil (we once did a scenario where you had to had MOE or IL and all the IL teams got smashed). Maybe that will happen some day. I don't mind some of the comparisons with Marvel and DC. I would use my rogues even more if the team ability was MOE. I made a couple teams with my rogues and a master of evil yellowjacket. It would make more sense to just use more rogues that already have a good team ability, and more fun.
