Well, I've been working on a number of 'new' clix. Many of them I put up previously, but now I'm just about done converting a whole new selection. One of the oddball ones I decided to do was a 'me' clix. I don't really expect to be much more than a thug, but I would give myself a good speed value and the leap part of leap/climb(reping my Track/Long Jump/High Jump/Pole Vault ability). I'm just not sure how to work out the points for it. I know there are a number of point formulas out there, so I'm just trying to work it out with one of them. The answer I guess I'm looking for is a proportion of value.
Leap climb has 4 distinct parts as best as I can tell:
1: The ability to get onto elevated terrain.
2: The ability to treat hindering terrain as 'clear'
3: The ability to move through squares adjacent to enemy characters
4: The ability to attack grounded/elevated characters from the opposite position
So, I'm thinking that I'd qualify for #2.
Here's my question then: about what percentage of the cost of leap climb should I pay to get ability #2. I'm thinking between a third and a half. When it comes to the abilities for leap climb, I'd personally put them in order (best to worst) as 3, 2, 1, 4. I'm looking for other people's opinions though.
Also, what color would you make this new ability? I have access to pretty much any color and I can easily do patterns as well. Currently, I'm thinking Maroon.
